Your Red Eyes

I kept wondering into the woods.. worried if I'll ever find my way back.

I walked and walked, trying to calm myself, even though I know I might end up dying here. The anxiety wouldn't stop. As I continued walking, I crossed my arms, beginning to walk slower. My eyes were starting to swell. Tears filled my eyes until it could no more. As the tears started streaming down my face, I stop walking. I lean against a near by tree and sat down next to it, crying on my knees. I felt alone, probably because I physically was, but I felt so vulnerable and in danger. My anxiety kept getting worse every second. Making me shake my head and even cover my ears, trying to block out the voice from my head to stop. But it didn't..

Then....... it stopped.

'What... what happened?'

My tears had stopped falling down my cheeks.

The voice inside my head finally shut up.

But how come?

I then suddenly heard leaves ruffle, not so far away from me. I jerk my head in that direction in wide eyes.

"W-who's there?" I stood up and moved my head to see what it could have been, but to Afraid to move my legs.

But nothing.

No reply.

"Is s-someone there?" I take a small step that direction

I stood another short step forward. And then another. Desperate for help. Then, my walking had accelerated.

"Is anyone there?!" I yell, starting to feel my eyes water once again.

I stop running and turn my body every which way, searching for someone who could help.

But no luck.

Until something caught my eye.

'What is that... should I be running?'

It was a faint light.

Two dots the shined a dark red.

Then I noticed the two dots became bigger, getting closer, but I couldn't see what it was, it was too misty and foggy.

What seemed to be just two red dots, it seemed more like eyes..

Red Eyes....
