3 wishes....
Just 3 wishes.
If I'd plan on winning I would've thought of what to wish for.
All of a sudden, a loud, deep voice spoke, making the barrier glow gold everytime it said something.
"Congratulations. You have won the Holy Grail War, I shall grant you only 3 wishes, chose wisely." It spoke..
Chose wisely it said....
I don't know if it's wise but I'm going to say it!
Everyone here who have sacrificed there lives just to win this stupid war. I feel so bad. Someone like me, won instead, someone who didn't even want to win how unfair. We have all lived our lives preparing our lives to die. Training to survive.
And there is Taehyung. He didn't even know about the Holy Grail War. Yet he was the hybrid. He was innocent.
"I.....I wish...." I hesitated
"No need to rush young man." The voice said. Although I could not see them, I could sense it was everywhere.
"My first wish.... I wish that the Holy Grail War will no longer continue on in the future..... Second wish..... I wish that for everyone who knows about the Holy Grail War, it's erased from there memories. ......"
"The only people that know about that War, are the people who have died in the war today." It interrupted.
".... My third wish....
...Resurrect all those who have died in the Holy Grail War from today."
"Young man, bringing back lives comes with a price.. you must sacr-"
"I am fully aware of it. Please grant my 3 wishes.."
"Understood.. " the voice said. "You've made a brave choice, no one else has done anything as great as what you've done. For that, what is one more wish you have."
".... let all those who are resurrected, live humbly and happy."
"That's a very selfless decision, because I admire you, I shall let them have memory of you. They shall see you as the selfless warrior who ended the great Holy Grail War. They shall see you as a hero."
I smiled to myself
"But I am no warrior, just someone who killed to live.. that is not a warrior."
"No.... it is not. But a warrior is someone who is not afraid to die for those they love and protect them till the bitter end. You are not afraid of dying, and you are making up for your sins. You couldn't kill the boy Because you loved him, you were willing to die, for him. In my eyes...
You are a warrior."
Wind was blowing everywhere, change forming.
Before I..... disappeared... I made my way to Taehyung's body, moving it to my lap. His skin cold and pale.
"I'm sorry Taehyung.. but I do not deserve this life. I did not deserve to win. But just know, I did this ... because I love you...." I said my last words.
Everything changing, wind thrashing, bright lights moving around me and blowing wind on my body.
I glanced at my hands, there disappearing....
The lights around me getting brighter the more I disappear.....
until finally.........
I was gone..
That was it... I no longer live. For those who were my friends, you guys were the best, and for Taehyung, even though I'm gone, don't forget about me. Even if one day you forget everything, at least remember......
