I sat next to him, fully in a trance watching him play the piano beautifully The melodies continued to pluck at my heartstrings, my heart began to pound harder and harder, the hole in my heart was slowly starting to fill.
I worked up the courage to put my fingers on the keys softly, and play the song with him that he had taught me way back on our very first date. He turned his head to look at me, with his eyes gazing in mine. It's like time stopped, and I could stare in his eyes forever. His lips slowly creeped up into a smile. Then, he began to sing softly.
"I'm not your lover, I'm not your friend.."
I smiled back, and began to sing with him, "I'm something that you'll never comprehend.."
"No need to worry, No need to cry." He sang
"I'm your messiah and you're the reason why, cause you.." I sang back, and we began to sing the next part together.
"I would die for you, yeah, darling if you want me to, you, I would die for you."
Then we both came to a stop at playing the piano, from getting lost in each other's eyes, with a force pulling us close together, trapping all the space that was between us.

ORIGINAL STORY
This story was published in 2016. It had a completely different storyline, with a different concept. In the past, I have had people copy my story multiple times that it became very obvious. Also, since I had written this story a couple of years ago, I had a lot of grammar mistakes and the story was very rushed, so I came back after a long break and decided to finish this story. For starters, this book is FULLY EDITED AND REVISED. If you are coming back as a previous reader and confused as to why the story changed, that's the case. In my opinion, I feel like I have grown as a writer, and the story looks a lot better than before, so I hope you do enjoy it.
MY VISION
The events, dates, ages of characters and people used in the story will be 99% percent accurate to Prince's and Michael's life. However, there will be some slight changes and new directions to their lives so it could fit perfectly with the way I picture Darling Mikey. I will try my best to keep it as real as possible, but of course, there will be some differences for this story.
EXPLANATION
Some readers might be confused to some aspects of the story, so I thought it would be best to explain them. First, there will be small parts in the story where it will take place in the future, but the majority of the book will take place in the common time setting, which is the past. These parts to the future are meant to foreshadow Michael and Prince's relationship, and what happens down the road. Even though the future will give hints to what happens, the story still gives the opportunity for the reader to find out the details in the past, and how it leads up to those events. The forward flashbacks to the future (if that makes any sense) will take place in 2010 and years after that only, so the story will have plenty of things to unfold. Second, there will be pictures, letters, quotes or song lyrics that will be either left in the beginning or the end of the story. Each of them, are to represent the love that Michael and Prince shared throughout their relationship. Some might not relate to the situations they have in whatever part your reading, but it's suppose to give you a perspective of what their love is truly about.
