  Sandalphon
Oh, this is definitely going to be a long day.
The angel leaned back in his seat and rubbed at his dark gray eyes tiredly. It wasn't even mid-morning yet, and Metatron had already dumped most of the work on him while he went to the brothels. And with that thought, an irritated growl left Sandalphon. He loved his brother -that was without question- but why should he always get saddled with the work while Metatron cavorted around with the brothel whores?
But Sandalphon knew why; it was because his brother was illiterate. A brilliant warrior and an excellent strategist, and yet, he couldn't read. It wasn't like anything was holding him back from learning, it was just that Metatron wanted to focus more on being a warrior than anything else. A decision that irritated his brother to no end.
A soft sigh escaped the raven-haired male as he picked up a piece of paper with dozens of angelic runes scrawled on it, dark eyes scanning the page tiredly. Yet another law for him to review when all the seraph wanted to do was sleep for an eon, and then some. But he knew that wasn't feasible with his job; not unless someone took his place.
Sandalphon paused as a thought came to him, quick and fleeting. What if Lumiel could take his place, at least for a little while? The brunette angel was food with most anything secretarial, plus he was good with the angelic script, so why not have him take on some of the work Sandalphon had to contend with? If he could pry him away from Lucifer, that is.
Ah, Lucifer, the Morning Star, prince of the angels. Sandalphon had never felt more contempt and jealousy for one being in his life; which spanned at least six million years. Hell, Sandalphon had been one of the very first angels born from the tears of the Reviser and yet this little... upstart had managed to transcend him. Sandalphon, brother to Metatron, co-leader of the angels! It made him bristle any time he thought of the silver-eyed seraph.
He forced himself to calm as he picked up a quill to sign the document with the complicated sigil that made up his name that glowed blue for a moment before it faded and was replaced with the runes that surmised his angelic name.
Sandalphon would get his justice. He just had to be patient.
