Chapter 10

The days passed by but it feels like yesterday when grandma saw their very intimate pose on bed that night. Namjoo and Seungjoo feels more awkward to each other till to the point that they hardly avoid each other. Grandma noticed it and she don't like it.

"Yah Namjoo-ah!" Yelled grandma.

Namjoo left the kitchen and went inside grandma's room.

"Wae grandma?" Namjoo questioned as she close the door behind her and sat across grandma.

Its early in the morning and the sun starting to shine.

The old woman took a deep breath. She looks ill.

"Why grandma? Are you sick?" Namjoo panicked.

"No. Its just a headache" answered grandma.

"But you looks very pale" Namjoo worried.

The old woman shook her head.

"Im fine. Dont worry."

Namjoo sigh.

"Where is Seungjoo?" The old one questioned.

Namjoo was caught off guard. Why grandma ask Seungjoo to her? Is she his caretaker? She thought but she erase those thought.

"I dont know. Maybe in his room" She answered cooly. As long as possible, she dont want to show how affected she is whenever she heard the name  Seungjoo.

"Then go and look for him. I have something to tell to him" Namjoo's eyes widen in shock and asked, "Me?" And pointed her self.

"Yes you! Is there anyone here other than you?" Grandma sarcastically answered but in a mischievous manner.

Namjoo end up staring on Seungjoo's door and debating to herself either she'll knock or not.

"Aist! Why do I need to do this?" She cursed.

What if he's still asleep? Aigoo!

She bit her lips and took a deep breath.

She was about to knock but the door unexpectedly open by Seungjoo. He was surprise to see Namjoo in front of his door and acting to knock.

Namjoo quickly put her hand to her nape, shy.

"Why?" Seungjoo questioned, raising a brows and chin.

Namjoo gulp and answered him.

"Grandma is calling you. Go to her room now".

He wondered but he just follow what Namjoo said.

"What again?" Seungjoo questioned her when he saw Namjoo following him.

"Grandma have something to say to us." She answered as she roll her eyes.

"About wh--"

"I dont know! Just go there" she pass him and went first inside grandma's room.

Seungjoo bit his lips in annoyance.

"That brat!" He hiss.

When the two finally sat across grandma, grandma did not hesitate to tell them her order.

"I want you two to be a good brother and sister since you're living in the same roof. I don't want you to ignore each other. It makes me feel lonely. You know, I'm too old now and I can't live a peaceful life if you are acting like this".

Both of them swallowed their own saliva and look to each other.

"And about the incident last week, I am not thinking bad about you. If you have a secret relationship then its fi--"

"No grandma! We don't have that kind of relationship!" The two interupted.

The old woman slightly move away from them because of their voice.

"Shut up! You're starting again!" She scolded them.

The two sigh and rolled their eyes irritably to each other.

"Now, apologized to each other" she ordered.

"Why would I? It's not my fault!" The both exclaimed.

"Namjoo-ah, Seungjoo-ah... can't you see? I don't feel good because of you. I want you to be nice to each other" she pleaded and it seems like the two felt guilt towards grandma. Grandma is sad because of them.

"I'm sorry grandma" Says Namjoo whose looking at her knees.

"I'm sorry too grandma" says Seungjoo.

"I'm glad you understand me now so please, apologize to each other now and be nice from now on".

Namjoo bit her lower lips as she face Seungjoo. It's really against her will but she needs to act nice in front of grandma while Seungjoo feel the same. He really don't like the idea of saying sorry to the girl who always see him as an eyesore.

"Uhmm I'm sorry. It will not happen again" both of them said and smiled. Fake smile.

After their reconciliation, grandma told them to continue their activity a while ago.

As soon as the two exited from the room, grandma laugh silently. She fix her self and laugh again. It was her acting plan from the beginning. To pretend sick just to make them friend.

"Aham!" Namjoo fake a cough.

"I don't mean it so don't be-"
"I don't even mean it too so don't worry!" Seungjoo cut her off and walked out.

He left Namjoo dumbfounded.

"That jerk!" She cursed.
