"Come on Amy, you're basically telling us you don't have a cheat list?" A white bat spoke as she unlocked the door to her condo letting her friends into her home.

"Yep Rouge not even one" the girl know as Amy said as she plopped down on the couch with her friends Blaze and Cream.

"Come on Amy even Cream has a cheat list just in case tails slips up, I even have one if Silver slipped up. Even Rouge has one with knuckles, you've gotta have at least one" Blaze said as she picked up the TV remote and started flipping through channels.
"Yeah Amy, it be good to know you have someone to comfort you while healing from a broken heart" Cream blushed thinking of her cheat list.
"Look girls I don't have a cheat list because I know Shadow won't cheat on me. Even if he did, he'd tell me. We don't keep secrets" Amy said as she got up to go get a drink.

The 3 girls exchanged worried looks knowing more than their young friend Rouge was the first to speak as Amy walked back in the living room. "How do you know it's real Amy?" Rouge asked with a hint of slyness in her voice confusing Amy. What do you mean?" Amy asked Blaze and Cream, and the two of them spoke in unison saying "Has he told you he loves you yet?" All 3 girls said together and Amy's face became laminated with a bright red blush. "No, but I haven't said it either" Amy stammered out completely embarrassed.
"Amy, you guys have been dating for almost a year I think it's time someone said 'I love you', if not maybe you should just end it" Cream said looking down at her lap as she twiddled her thumbs. Amy began to put the clues together. She then, in a state of confidence stated, "Guys I know what your trying to do" The girls let out a breath of relief. Amy then continued with her speech.
"You want me to break up with him because of the fact that we haven't said I love you to each other. I'm not going do that because most couples wait a significant amount of time before saying they love each other and if you wanted me to break up with him the three of you shouldn't have introduced him to me" Amy stated as she was about to sit down she got a text from her phone.
The text read: "Come down I'm outside" Amy smiled a little and said "Speak of the devil! He's outside and waiting for me. I gotta go!" In a feat of excitement she grabbed her back pack and went on her way leaving her friends in the condo.
When Amy got down stairs she saw a red and black 2016 mustangs super snake parked in the parking lot the owner of the car was leaning  on the front hood talking on the phone he saw a pink hedgehog walking his way with a big smile on her face.

"Esp, I'll call you back soon. Until then, email the information to my work computer and I'll go over it later tonight," Shadow said before ending his call and putting his phone away. He then walked over to Amy and the two of them exchanged hugs. Shadow then kissed her on the cheek and pulled away wrapping his arms around her leading her to the car. He proceeded to open the passenger door for her, allowing her to get in the vehicle. he then walked over to the divers side he looked up to see Rouge looking at  him from her condo window. A look of mixed emotions before looking away.

Shadow then got in the car and noticed Amy playing a game on her phone.
"So how was your day, Rose?" he asked as he started the car and drove off towards his own house .
"Pretty fun since it's a two week break from school; we watched movies but it got attacked by the review packets that was assigned to the class. I was lost to boredom and fell asleep through the 1st period movie though." Amy smiled Shadow kept his eyes on the road.

"Well it turns out I'm going out of town for a few days to some construction on an old building in the North Islands" Shadow said as he pulled up to his apartment complex both he and Amy got out of the car and started walking to his apartment.

"So...how long do you think you'll be gone?" Amy asked with a hit of sadness in her voice that shadow indeed did picked up.
"I'd say a good 3-4 days I'm just there to make sure everything is up to code so we can start construction. then If all goes well the full project will start in summer" Shadow said as he opened the door to his apartment he took Amy's stuff and placed it on the floor next to the kitchen table he then pulled Amy to the couch and pulled her onto his lap.
