I have been wondering what to do with H0-P3 since she had made an emotional bond with N-5. Emotional bonds meant I had to deal with trying to either separate them from one-another or with the fact that if one got hurt, the other would actually care about it. On the contrary, her mind doesn't appear to be deteriorating as fast nor not at all- she's happy and more energetic, she sleeps well, and she has someone to fill the hole that was loneliness. Would she also teach him art and creativity? N-5 is very logical compared to her creativity. I guess I will just have to find out.

I went to go check on them and found that N-5 appeared frustrated as he worked on the latest mural of what looked like a light cliff with brush on top with the sun rising over the cliff. She stood beside him and watched as he started to color it, but snapped the chalk. "I just don't get this, Hope! How are you able to do things like this?"

I'm sure you'll learn how eventually.

N-5 groaned. "I can see you're having a good time. H0-P3, it's time for testing."

H0-P3 seemed a little disappointed, but came towards me anyways. See you later.

We walked down the same hall as always, and entered the same room. I had noticed that her hair wasn't standing end anymore. I had wondered if she still had the power of electricity.

I grabbed a small machine and gave her what looked like two metal bars and hooked a wire to my computer. "All you have to do for this test is channel your electricity into the bars, and I'll measure the power."

I looked at the computer and gave her the "all-good" signal.

I jumped back as the electricity caused a power surge and the computer shut down. I turned to look at her and saw that she had fainted. This needs more testing. I sat her up in my arms and she woke up approximately a minute later.

Sorry...

"That's fine. How about... wait. Actually, wait right here. I'm going to get someone."

Got it.

I put her back on the floor and went out the door. I went back to her cell. "Come here, N-5."

He came over and we walked in silence to where she was. We walked inside and found her sitting and making a cat's cradle with a loop of dark magic. She noticed us and it dissipated. She stood up. Hi, Matt!

"Hi. Alright, what are we doing here, Doc?"

"She's going to go the test chamber, and I'm going to run some tests. You're going to watch."

N-5 narrowed his eyes at me. He knew what was coming next, and hated me for it. He knew that I was going to test how far he would go for her.

She went into the test chamber and I left the door unlocked, but closed. I then started attacking her with weak fire. N-5 held not only his breath, but his tongue as well. I felt just a little grateful for that. She immediately blocked it, and trained her vision on me to see what I would do next.

My eyes flared blue and water surrounded her and increased in volume rapidly. She soon had to swim, and seemed at a loss for what to do. She hadn't learned to swim, and started to panic.

"Make a bubble! Use your air to-"

I covered N-5's mouth. "Let her figure it out herself."

She hadn't heard him and started to drown. I released the water at the last second and she dropped to the floor, coughing up water. I then smiled and aimed some earth spikes at her.

I fired, but didn't notice that N-5 had snuck into the test chamber. He threw himself in front of the spikes and took the hit for her. I could never forget the fear and regret that shine in his orange eye, and the look on his face when he knew he was going to get hit. He fell to the ground, stabbed through the stomach. Her eyes widened and I grabbed him and locked her inside. She banged on the door to no avail. I dissipated the earth spike and teleported to the stabilizing room, my weak healing magic the only thing keeping him alive.

I quickly connected all sorts of wires and lines to him and stopped the blood from flowing out of the wound. "N-5! N-5!"

"Sorry, Doc... I knew she was important... so I protected her... for you..."

A chill went down my spine as N-5 closed his eyes and went to sleep. "I'll make sure it doesn't go to waste, Matt."

I had one of my healers look after him as I teleported back to my office to let H0-P3 out of the test chamber, but stopped outside of it when I saw her state inside the chamber.

She was on her knees and crying black tears. Her sobs shook her body, and her tears contrasted her pale skin when they fell on it. Black magic swirled in a tornado around her, and lightning crackled around her. I'm sure if she could talk, she would wail.

"H0-P3."

She didn't look up. I knew she wouldn't, so I sealed the test chamber and gassed it. She fell to the ground and her magic disappeared. I picked her up and teleported her back to her cell and set her inside. I walked in and noticed that N-5's violin was out of its case and that books were scattered on the floor. I sighed and put the violin in its case and started to place the books back in the shelf when I noticed that there was some shaky writing in some of the margins. I gave a small smile. He's teaching her to write.

I placed the books back and quickly left thinking about N-5.

What will I-5 say when I tell him his brother's going to die?!
