Chapter Fourteen

Genevieve's POV

   As planned, we went to Cedric's castle to hide while all the people in the world thought that I'm dead...

"So your brother is in your kingdom right?" Cedric asked.

"Yeah, he needs to help my mom too probably. It'll be a lot of work obviously now that the only princess of the kingdom died from a burning castle."

"I would probably need you to hide from my mansion because my parents are strict and..... They will be confused on why your there because you were dead and get might tell the people that your still alive and it'll cause more problem." He said.

"Isn't that a lot more better because I will be back to normal?"

"Well yeah but it'll cause more problem and they might hate you because they would think like 'why didn't she show up before we already knew she was dead?!' They would be something like that."

"Well I would never wanna face something like that."

"Come in." He said then open the back door.

"Why are we coming in from here?"

"So they won't see you."

"Ohh."

"Okay so Genevieve, you run there to that room over there at the near corner while I go to my room and also see my parents and get you something to eat."

He was pointing the place on where I'm gonna stay in for awhile...

"Oh okay thanks-"

"Omo! Princess Genevieve, your h-hi-highness, what are you doing here? Am I having a delusion or am I imagining her?" A maid said while walking towards us looking so definitely confused.

"Shuush!" Cedric said while covering her mouth. "Your the only maid I trust here so keep that a secret from the others or I'll get you fired."

"Yes your highness." She said.

"Take her to the room over there without anyone recognizing her." He said then pointed it out again.

I just realized that all the people we trust at home are the maids and they are girls... I trust Berthrom too and Soo.

The maid pulled my arm and started to speed walk while I'm covering my face so that they won't notice me but I'll look weird because ugly now it's like my owner is holding me and I'm waking like a monkey...

"Here you go your highness. Is there anything else you'll need for your room?" She asked.

"Hmm... Maybe food and some books will be fine."

She bowed and then made her way to get those stuff I just told her.

I entered the room and I saw a really clean room with a bed, a table lamp, a mirror, a cabinet, humidifier, and a very long couch which looks so comfortable so I tried to say ok it and it was very comfortable to sit in I'm not even kidding.

Marcus's POV

   My father came in with my stepmom and she looks really like a very bad person..

"Marcus and Rick, aren't you gonna great your father?" Dad asked us.

"Sorry but I don't respect people who I don't know."

  I don't respect him because he doesn't even care about us, he only cares about himself.

"Welcome home, dad." Rick said.

"I still have a very respectful child." Dad said while walking pass us.

Rick started to whisper something on my ear,

"You should probably tell him if he could do that."

"No! I woul not." I said.

"It's for Genevieve's sake. You do know dad doesn't like us marrying somehow who is not well known in the world nor our kingdom right?"

"For Genevieve's sake."
