Jimin pov
"Cupcake, should I go to this?" I frown as she just stares at me with her tail waging. "You're no help. I'm worried. If I got this letter then so has Yoongi."
I start to pace my living room floor and bite my nails. "I haven't seen Yoongi in months. He hates me... He would never do this...But, Yoongi has always had a love for money."
I think for a second and huff out air. "But I like money too!" I plop on the floor and stare at the clock hanging on the wall. It's 5:30. If I let the time pass then it'll be over and I won't have to see him...
The thought of seeing Yoongi makes my stomach flip and my heart skip a beat. Stop it heart! Stop!
It doesn't take long for me to convince myself to go and another second for me to be out the door.

Yoongi pov$100,000. Just imagining that makes my mouth water. That money could really help me out. Of course, I'm pushing the thought of seeing Jimin again to the back of my mind.
Jimin is a whole other subject in itself. He's wicked and conniving. He's deceitful. Just his face in my head makes me want to back out now, but I force myself to keep walking to the destination. My steps are drowned out by the other thousand feet that hit the sidewalk. I let my mind wander as I look at people's shadows, but stop once I'm in front of Tea For Geeks.
My breath catches in my throat as Jimin stares at me with parted lips. Here we are face to face after 7 months and I still feel as sick as the day I signed the divorce papers.
Jimin licks his lips and opens his mouth to speak, "Hey-" I swerve him so fast that I almost get whiplash and head into the building.
I hear the door open again and know Jimin is silently following close behind me. I'm surprised since the place is almost empty but then I notice one man sitting at the tables with blond hair. I walk over to him and clear my throat. "Are you the one who sent the letter?"
"Oh, my babies! Come sit. I'm glad you could make it!" He beams and I cringe at the fact that he just adopted us...sort of.
Jimin sits down to my left and I pull my seat as far away from him as possible and sit. "Hi, I'm Jimin." I roll my eyes at his fake politeness. I know the real Jimin and he is not all sweet.
"Nice to meet you in person." I mumble and the man nods his head.
"My name is Seokjin, but you can call me Jin. So seeing as you're here. That must mean that both of you are willing to participate?"
"Yes-"
"Maybe-"I glare at Jimin as he avoids eye contact. He needs to participate so I can get my money. "What do you mean maybe? Why are you here then?"
Jimin's eyes soften as he looks at me and I narrow my eyes. "We haven't seen each other in 7 months...and I wanted to know what this was all about before I just didn't show up." He mumbles and I half laugh.
"You are such a liar." I say slightly agitated. "Don't pretend you actually missed me. You just want the money."
Jimin flinches at my words and I fold my arms. "So, anyways. What is the deal with all of this? Why us and what is the divorce house?" Jin takes a couple sips from his green tea and twirls his straw with his fingers.
"My company is in the business of helping divorcees reconcile and you two happened to catch our eye."
I nod my head, but I'm left with even more questions. "How did we catch your eyes? How did you find out about us? How can we believe that you aren't just a crazy stalker?"
"First off, I do not stalk. I'm way too high class for that and secondly, all information dealing with my company is classified. You will be able to read through these contracts though." Jin pulls out two packets from his messenger bag and slides them across the table.
"Concerning you and Jimin now. You two will be staying in a mansion so to speak that includes an indoor pool, a hot tub, 3 guest rooms, one master bedroom that you two will be required to sleep in, a movie room and an open backyard. Also, during the course of your stay every week you will each be given a secret mission that you will have to complete-"
"A secret mission? Meaning... we can't tell each other what it is?" Jimin questions and he makes that stupid face where his eyebrows knot together and his lips pucker.
"Precisely!" Jin claps his hands together. "You will both have to complete the mission by the Saturday night 11:59 pm to continue on living in the divorce house. If one of you fails, you both have to leave."
"You got to be kidding me! Jimin will ruin the whole thing." I exclaim and notice Jimin shift timidly in his seat.
"I think I can handle a small mission." He mumbles and I turn my head away.
"Jin, if one of us wants to quit...can they?"
Jin shakes his head, "The only way to leave the divorce house is to lose a mission. Oh, another thing. There will be cameras set up in every part of the house so we can keep track of your progress and you will still be attending to most of your regular day schedules with a few extra bits and pieces. I will give you two some time to discuss and then we can regroup in an hour?"
We both nod our heads and Jin gets up and leaves the building. I swiftly turn to Jimin who is playing with his fingers before he gathers his courage and turns to me. "How have you been?" He ask and I physically cringe.
"No personal questions. Are you going to do it or not?"
"It seems a little sketchy..."
"Yeah, I know, but it's $100,000 and if it turns out to be a fluke we can just leave by failing a mission. Jimin, this money is really important to me... I know this is completely selfish, but the least you could do is help me out after all you did." I say, exasperated.
Jimin's eyes flicker to my chest and his breathing stops for a moment before he resumes staring out into the distance. "What about having to sleep in the same bed? Are you okay with that since you can't even stand to sit in the same room as me?"
His question makes my palms sweat and my mouth dry. "It's only temporary...let's read this contract." I say to change the subject.
To be quite honest I barely read the contract in the hour time we had. I spent most of it spacing out and trying not to think of the worst case scenarios that could happen with Jimin and I being so close. I'm not going to lie, but Jimin has that effect on me...he's conniving and decietful, however, he still makes you feel like you're the one who's wrong.
"Have you decided on what you're going to do?" Jin asks as he sits back down.
"Yeah, we're in." Jin smiles and hands us some pens.
"Please sign the contracts." Both Jimin and I write our names in cursive and hand them to Jin.
"Great! You two will move into the Divorce house on Saturday." That's two days away.
Jimin stands from his seat all of a sudden, "Oh, shoot! Cupcake! I have a dog."
"You got a dog?" Jimin nods his head.
"Yeah, a German Shepard. Can he come too?"
Jin taps his finger on his chin. "I'm sure it'll be fine." Jimin places his hand on his heart and exhales.
"Thank goodness...so, I guess this is it?" Jin stands up and hold out his business card.
"The number on the card will contact you and tell you where to go." And with that he's out the door.
"I guess I'll go." Jimin says abruptly and leaves the room. I stand there alone and lost on what to do next. Yeah...$100,000 is so worth it...
