Yoongi pov (Week 4: Sunday)
"Can we just lay here all day?" Jimin asks as he buries his face in my side, making me chuckle. It's weird how just a few hours ago my perception of Jimin was so twisted and now I just want to keep him as close as possible. Sadly, we can't stay here forever though.
"I wish, but we've been laying in bed all morning and Hoseok is probably bored out of his mind. Not to mention Jungkook is most likely on his way with a new mission." I grunt when Jimin squeezes me tightly to the point where my back cracks.
"That's what you get for ruining my blissful morning." He states and I frown.
"To be honest, I deserve more than just having my back cracked after how I treated you." I voice, causing Jimin to pull away from me and cup my cheek.
"We've been over this. You did nothing wrong." He kisses my nose, "It was all me." I know his words are supposed to make me feel better, but I just can't shake my remorse. I don't even know how to repay Jimin for his selflessness. It was the biggest sacrifice anyone could make and I just spat in his face. "Please Yoongi. Stop torturing yourself... for me?"
I close my eyes and breathe out through my nose. "I don't know how to make up for all of this." I whisper and Jimin rubs his nose against mine.
"Just laying here with me is fine enough."
The door bell ringing, pulls us out of the moment and back to reality. "That must be the messenger." I say with air quotes and Jimin smiles.
"Let's go see what our next missions are." We both get out of bed and walk down the stairs to see Hoseok ushering in Jungkook. When we're only a few feet away Jungkook pulls out an envelope.
"Hey." He greets and Jimin offers a smile.
"It's nice to see you again." Jimin responds and I give them a quizzical look.
"When did you two get so close?" I ask and Jungkook laughs.
"Jealous?"
"No."
Jungkook smirks, "Well, I happened to save Jimin from dying of an asthma attack. Plus, we talked a little." My eyes widen because Jimin never mentioned having an asthma attack recently. When I glance over at him, he seems to turn a few shades darker.
"I didn't die and we were on bad terms then so I didn't bring it up," He explains and I can't help but agree. I guess he's right. I wasn't really in the listening mood for him just a few days ago too. However this just brings my emotions back up and I feel my chest tighten. We were so bad off that he didn't even want to tell me he almost died.
"So I'm assuming you two are making amends?" Jungkook questions and I simply nod my head. "Oh, I'm glad. It's always a shame when people divorce."
I fold my arms, "So...the company didn't tell you that we were on good terms?" Jungkook just shrugs.
"I'm just a messenger. It's only the big guys that know the important stuff. I don't even see what's in the envelopes." He replies and I twist my mouth to the side.
"I guess that makes sense. So is Jin one of the elite?" I ask, sarcastically and he laughs.
"He's definitely up there, but he's still just an employee."
Jimin chimes in, "Where is Jin lately. He doesn't come by here anymore like he used too."
Again, Jungkook just shrugs. "He's a busy man. He probably has some other jobs to handle. Listen, as much as I would love to stick around; I have other stuff to deliver." Jungkook turns around to leave, but is stopped by Hoseok, who's been listening intently.
"So...Jungkook. How do you feel about one night stands?" I face palm at his terrible pick up line.
I'm surprised when Jungkook gives a sly smile and plants a soft kiss on Hoseok's lips. "You're not my type."
It's almost pitiful how Hoseok becomes putty and follows Jungkook to the front door in a trance. When Jungkook is finally out the door, it still takes a few seconds for him to close the door. "Wow is this the same man that claims to get laid every few days?"
At my words Hoseok snaps out of it and pouts, "Yes and he's just really attractive is all."
I shake my head and focus back on Jimin. "Okay, open the envelope." He nods his head and unwraps it. Glancing over his shoulder, we both look at it's contents...
To reveal the missions, Jimin must kiss Hoseok.
Jimin and I both face each other with stunned expressions. When I glance at Hoseok's clueless face, my emotions boil over. "No."
"But, we need to see what the missions are for this week." Jimin expresses and I avert my eyes.
"I don't want anyone else to be intimate with you." I mumble and Jimin lifts my chin.
"It's not intimate if you don't love the person." He kisses my lips gently, "What we have is real. These missions aren't a reflection of our relationship."
I sigh, "Okay, but make it quick." I pout and he kisses my cheek. I bite down on my lip as he walks over to Hoseok and explains the situation. With permission from me, he lets Jimin peck his lips for barely a second. I let out the breath I was holding when it's over and walk to the plates on the table that hold our missions.
I hand Jimin his and open mine.
