I left him shortly after that, I had to grab Cass from her father. But I was in my own little world. Last night just had be on a high, it made me forget about Matt, and it made me forget about Shawn. Seconds later my phone dinged.
Matt: My moms watching the kids tonight date?
Looking at the text as I sat in the parking lot of the gas station that Shawn and I meet at made a pit develop in the bottom of my stomach. I cheated on him last night, I kissed, and slept with someone who wasn't my boyfriend. I felt dirty. I felt like trash. But I also felt as if it was suppose to happen because I had this chemistry with Que that was unlike anything else. It was like sparks that literally appeared every time I got around him.
I texted him back fairly quickly.
No, I have something to do tonight. But I'll call you later. We need to talk.
I sent that as Shawn pulled up with cass, placed my phone in the cup holder and got out of my car so that I could strap Cass into her carseat.
"Tuesday at 7 here correct?" I questioned raising my eyebrow as I opened the drivers side door.
"Yup. See you then." I heard him faintly say before I climbed back into my car. Seconds later my phone began to ring.
"Hello"
"You wanted to talk?"
"Yeah, I can't do this Matt." I said as I buckled my seatbelt up.
"What do you mean?" I shook my head, he had no idea.
"I went out last night, and I had a fantastic time with a guy who wasn't you. I clicked with him. I care for you, but I don't click with you the way I click with this guy." All I heard was silence on his end for a while.
"You still there?" I asked gently.
"Yeah. If that's how you feel I'm glad you told me instead of lying to me. Be safe. " That's all he said before hanging up. I sighed, that went better than I expected honestly. I sat my phone back down and started to pull out of the gas station parking lot to head back to my grandmothers house.
Its a two minute warning, And I know that you want it
Que: I need more of last night with you.
*** Quick update. Got alot going on in life. I'm working on becoming a Federal employee and pursuing my career. I WILL be finishing this story in the next 6 months if that because I have another story I would like to start. so keep an eye out for more updates. ***
