Tick 7 - A Promise!

Here we are in the Blair Mausoleum... The guards of the Mausoleum recognize me from the last time so they let me in. And its definitely a good thing I'm good with directions and I remembered every door and every turn Uncle did when he took us here... If I didn't Emmett and I will not be able to find it...

"Here! Here! Over the other side is the garden!" I said cheerfully

"This place is a huge labyrinth! You must be good at memorizing to be able to remember all of that... I don't even remember half of it..." he said and laughed... well at least the air has been a little lighter... ever since we came to the tower and it was closed he had been a bit sullen... But now he's smiling a bit... Maybe its because we're close now... to his beloved...

"Well are you ready! I'm gonna open the door now ok!" I said and he just smiled... I pushed the door open and here we are in Rhain Blair's Enchanted Garden...

"A lot had definitely changed... but I don remember being here..." he muttered

"Hmm yeah... supposedly Lady Rhain was to be taken inside along with the other bodies but they didn't continue it since they didn't want to dig up the roses that magically grew around her grave... They thought she might get upset if someone dug it up." I explained

"Roses that magically grew!?" he asked and looked at me confused

"Yep! check it out!" I said and ran towards the grave... "Don't they look pretty?" I asked with a smile

"They do... but why are they red..." he asked with a grim expression

"Something wrong?" I asked

"She hates red..." he said

"Yeah I don't like that color too it reminds me of blood but..." I said

"You said the same thing!" he said and his expression changed from grim to something more lighter

"Really?" I asked

"Yes... that was the same reason she gave me of why she hated red... How funny... hahah..." he said

"Well I guess we are still somehow the same..." I said

"I guess... But seriously why are the roses red?" he asked

"Uhm I don't know either they just magically grew there Uncle said... The first time it grew it was a bunch of white roses but the white roses wilted and changed to red one day and that's all I know..." I lied... I didn't want to tell him it happened because he died... I'm not even sure if that's the real cause but there's no need to tell them that...

"So if you don't like red then... Is it still violet? your favorite color I mean." he said and looked at me intently

"How'd you know?" I asked shocked "Oh... wait... of course you'd know..." I said in realization of the fact that, of course he'd know... my past life was his girlfriend... they even eloped basically they are like married except without the ceremonies and all the other stuffs...

"We eloped right... I mean you eloped with her... in the past..." I said

"We did... but worst decision ever..." he said sadly

"Worst!?" I asked and looked at him intently

"I don't mean about Rhain, I meant the timing... I wouldn't regret all the memories and all the times we spent together... I'm just upset of the fact that... I wasn't good enough... If I was rich then... I could have probably found someone to cure her... she couldn't have died... Maybe if I just left her with Lewis then she'd be safe... He was a better man than I was that time..." he said
