Finally! The bell rang and Chemistry class was over. Just as I was about to walk out the door, Mr. J motioned me aside so he could speak to me. "Samantha, is everything alright? Why were you almost late for class this morning??" he asked with some concern. I thought about whether I wanted to tell him about the trio and what happened this morning but I decided against it. After all, what could he do to help? Plus like they say, snitches get stitches and I'll pass on that thank you very much. So I opted for a lie. Definitely not my first one, and I can guarantee it won't be my last.

"I'm sorry Mr. J, I was just having some trouble with my locker is all. Looks like it got caught on something. Honestly, it was probably just my bag but it still caused a little bit of trouble. I'll try to make sure it won't happen again.". He gave me a look like he knew I was lying, but he didn't press the issue any further. Telling me that I should get on my way before I'm late for my next class, I scrambled out the door so I wouldn't be. Phew! That was a close one.

Walking to my English class, I was actually really happy. I got to share this class with Liliana which was always a definite mood brightener. I smiled and waved at her as I went to my seat. Thankfully she was seated right next to me so I didn't have to look far to see her. Plus I could sneak glances every now and then just so I could see her beauty. The only bad thing about this class is that I have to share it with Courtney as well. On the good side though, she sat at least two or three rows behind me so I didn't have to deal with her.

The bell rang but our teacher Mr. Schultz was nowhere to be seen. That was ok by me though, it gave me more time to converse with Lilly. Next thing I know something hits me in the back of the head. I look down to see a wadded up piece of paper lying on the ground. I pick it up and turn around and glare because I knew exactly where it had come from. That bitch Courtney had a smirk on her face that was 10 miles wide. Oh how I wanted to slap it off of her face so badly but I couldn't because at that instant in walked our teacher. I flipped her the bird and turned back around in my seat. She always does something like that and I try to ignore her best I can. I'm alright if it's me she's picking, but if she ever dares lay a hand on Liliana or even speaks to her in the wrong way, you can bet your ass I will go bat shit crazy oh her. And that's a promise.
