Kathy's P.O.V
I went to the bathroom thinking about Dean's past, at least he had a reason to be immortal unlike me, I didn't even knew why I was immortal. Yes, I could read minds and sometimes I could even manipulate them, sometimes, but obviously I couldn't read Mione's mind, she kept it locked, I would say.
I went in my bathroom and apparated.
"Kat, I made dinner"
"Really Ron?"
"Yes!!" Ron was so proud
"And why have you made dinner Ron?"
"Hermione's pregnant"
"No way, is that true!!!"
"M.hm"
"Oh my god, I.. I..." I was so full of happiness, I would be an aunt, Mione would be a mother, wow.
"Dinner?"
"Of course, who are coming"
"Everyone"
"That's pretty good, I'll stay then"
"She'll be happy then"
Meanwhile in Stark Tower,
Dean's P.O.V
"I think it's high time, we should call her for dinner"
Oh snap, what if they find out that she's not here, I promised her, No, I cannot let anyone.
"I'll go Nat"
Natasha frowned and looked at me suspiciously
"Well I think this love bird should go and seek for Kathy" Tony remarked smirking at me, I blushed.
"I'll go" I stood up and went.
Where was her home, where she lived, I knew nothing. Absolutely NOTHING.
How would I tell her that everyone wanted her for dinner, I neither had her phone number, god damn it.
It was useless going to her room, I knew she wasn't there but I checked, yes, she wasn't there, so I went back and I knew all the upcoming questions from others so I was preparing myself with answers.
"Where is-"
"She is bathing and she said she won't eat as she wanted to get some sleep. She said she hadn't slept since yesterday so.."
"Ok" Clint snapped, and thank God no questions came from Natasha.
I just ate my food, wondering when she would come back.
Kathy's P.O.V
It was twelve when I came back. God it was so late and I was sure that Natasha would eat me alive if she would come to know that I apparated again.
So I prepared a story which I knew no one would believe and stepped out of my room.
I walked towards the main hall passing various rooms until I came in the kitchen.
"Hungry, are you" a voice came, my heart beat was very fast Andi turned around to see Tony smirking at me with a glass of something known as alcohol.
"N..No, I'm fine"
"Dean told me that you won't eat because you weren't hungry, but still there is food, if you want, you can have" Tony smirked and went.
I didn't knew what Dean had told them or what excuse he would have given, what I knew was that I needed to find Dean and ask him. That's it.
Ok, so I needed to analyze where Dean was, or I could just make it simpler.
I took out my wand and whispered.
"Accio map of Stark Tower"
I waited, nothing came. Obviously, who would keep a map of his own house. But then I saw a paper flying and coming towards me, I grabbed it and saw this was a map, a way simpler one, but it was a map of Stark Tower and it belonged to.... Clint???
Maybe, anyways, I took the map and searched and I got Deans room. At least, I now knew where his room was. I smiled at the map and headed to Dean's
Dean's P.O.V
"Shut up" I mumbled as I heard someone knocking at my door.
"Dean"
"Let me sleep, please, I'll practice tomorrow"
"Dean, it's me Kathy, open the door"
I looked at my watch it was midnight, what was Kathy doing at midnight, knocking at my door. Argh!
I went and opened the door.
"Can I come in?"
"Yeah" I yawned at let her in.
I was leaning towards the door and she was standing in front of me. She was good obviously, but at times she was creepy.
"I'm not creepy" she frowned.
"How did you-"
"Mind reading" "Anyways, I wanted to know what you have told them about me!"
"I told then that you apparated"
What! Dean I'll kill you" she came closer and I smiled
"Just kidding, Kat, i told them that you were tired and wanted to sleep and you won't be accompanying us in dinner"
"Oh thank you Dean" she came near and hugged me. I baffled and blushed. I separated her from me holding her arms shifting her towards the wall.
"Woah girl, easy"
"What ?" She looked confused which was good.
I leaned towards her and whispered in her ears "Nothing"
She gave me a look and started hitting me, Ouch, she was so strong.
"Ok, sorry, sorry, sorry"
"You betcha" she glared at me.
This was the time I noticed she was so close to me, so close, I could feel her breathes.
She just blinked while I stared at her, I didn't knew why, but I loved her.
No, I had insulted her, broken her, stalked her, I cannot love her, no, I didn't deserve her.
"Dean you don't need to be sport every time you see me, it hurts, please" she whispered.
Did she loved me, or liked me, I didn't knew, what I knew was she hated me.
"I don't hate you Dean"
"Neither do I" I said
"You wanna talk about it?"
"About what?"
"Your past Dean"
I didn't wanted to tell her but I knew she would read my mind anyways, so I just nodded.
We went to my balcony and sat in the railing, close.
"So, tell" she said
"I am an experiment, a successful experiment. Hydra did something to me, I don't know, I just remember getting tortured, getting injections and stuff. I was nine when Steve saved me from their base. I really didn't knew my abilities, but when I touched Steve's shield, I absorbed it. That's when I realized that I could absorb things. Hydra was very cruel, they had killed my only companion Linda, she was eleven. She was everything to me. That's when I decided to take revenge and Fury took me in avengers." I finished, I could see tears in her eyes.
"I'm sorry Dean"
"It's ok" I smiled, "Your turn"
"I live with my sister Hermione Granger and her husband Ron Weasely. I don't remember anything about my past, anything, I don know where I got my unusual power from. Mione knew, but she wouldn't tell me and plus I can't read her mind cause she blocks me. I was eleven when I went to Hogwarts and there I found my ability of mind reading. I read the mind of my friend Elaina. I was thirteen when I got to know my second power, I could manipulate decision taken by others. My herbology professor Longbottom decided to resign, but I did wanted him to. So I went to him, he said it's no use, I looked in his eyes and pleaded him not to go, he simply said ok and unpacked his things. I don't really want to manipulate anyone's decision, but it happens, like it happened when I first met fury and said I wanted to tell my family about it. He was sure he didn't wanted me to go, but I manipulated his mind, accidentally."
I gasped, but she smiled.
"Now that we know each other we can be friends, right?"
"Just friends?" I smirked at her.
She smiled and went back.
