I look at him wondering why he is looking at me. After, I give him a simple smile. Then, I turn back around and continue walking to class. That was a bit creepy. Having someone looking at you and say nothing. I try to shake that out of my head when I reach my classroom. I sit in my seat and remove my headsets from my head and rest it on my neck. I go to my phone and press the pause button on my phone. The bell rings and everybody comes in. I sigh and get my agenda out and right down the plan for today.
"Hello class. You'll be doing classwork on Chapter 12, Section 5. See what you remember from yesterday." Mrs. Haven said. She put the paper work on Hailey's desk. Hailey got up and started to pass out papers to the class. I ended up being the last one to get my paper from Hailey. She gave me the annoying glare I get a lot. I started on my work.
I finished my work in about 45 seconds. This is always easy. Language/Reading is always easy. I get up and walked to the front. I give my paper to Mrs. Haven and wait. She gives me a packet of paper and a slip to Gifted. I grab both and walk off to my desk. I grab my bag and walk out the classroom. I sigh and start to read the pack of paper.
It's about the seniors dance, Senior Jam. Stupid name? Yea, I agree. It's next month. On May 20, 2016. Friday night. I'm going to read this later. I put the packet in my bag and reach to the door for the Gifted. I open the door and walk in. I give the note to Edwardo and go to my station.
I see handcuffs. That's it. I look at it in confusion.
"Boo!" I hear. I jump and let out a little shriek. I turn around and see it's Edwardo.
"Edwardo? Really, why?" I ask.
"I just wanted to scare you. I see that you found the handcuffs." He said pointing to the handcuffs. I turn and look at the handcuffs and turn back to Edwardo.
"They were never lost." I said.
"Whatever, but if your wondering. We'll, I mean you'll try to get out this set of handcuffs before it's the next class." Edwardo said.
"Really?" I said.
"Really." Edwardo said. "Now let's get you in the handcuffs." He said grabbing the handcuffs and locked them when the handcuffs are on.
"Wait? Are these real?" I ask.
"Yes. I have a friend." He said.
"Yea, a friend that's a police officer." I said.
"Yep, now get going." He said and walked off. I roll my eyes and try to figure out a strategy to get out of the handcuffs. I thought and thought.
I grab a bobby pin from my hair and mess with the lock. After about a couple of minutes messing with the lock of the handcuffs, I finally felt the handcuffs loosen. I take off the handcuffs and set them on the table. The bell rings and I grab my bag. Just in time. I walk to my next period.
--------------The late bell rings for third period and I just barely made it. I sit in at my desk and wait for Jay, so we can plan out for our next meet up. I get a pencil and paper out of my bag and wait. I see Jay come in and sit right next to me. I give him a simple smile.
"Okay, what are we doing?" Jay asks while setting his backpack down.
"I don't know. You got anything." I ask while turning toward him.
"Well, my dad and mom suggested about going to your house." He said and place is hands behind his head. I look at him surprised and not knowing what to say. "What happen you can't talk?" He says.
"Oh, I can talk it's just-"
"It's just I'm a really handsome man and you're speechless about it?" Jay says interrupting me.
