Chapter 8

Lexi's POV

I turned my head to see Tanya and Tristan. Tanya laughed her snobby laugh and said,"Wow, you are weak!" "Well, I DO have a broken ankle." I mumbled. "Oh my gosh! You broke your ankle!" She lyingly said. "I see you're so broke you couldn't afford real crutches." She pointed to my crutches. "These are much better than anything you could ever buy." I said. I started to stand up, but she kicked me back down. Tristan grabbed me by the arms and held me up. Tanya punched me in the face and stomach. They switched spots and Tristan kicked my face and twisted my other ankle, breaking it. I started to cry as the bell rang. They dropped me, and walked to lunch. I was able to scoot to the lockers.

•After school•

School just ended. I sat there, bored and in pain. I was playing with my sleeve, then April ran to me. "Girl, where were you!?" "Tristan and Tanya beat me up, and Tristan broke my other ankle." She grabbed her T-Phone, and called Donnie. "Donnie, bring the guys and the Shellraiser to the back of the school. -pause- Long story, no time." Then she hung up. April lifted me onto her back and carried me to the back door, where the guys were. Leo jumped out and lifted me into the Shellraiser. "Ok, what happened?" Leo asked as Donnie started driving to the lair. "Tristan and Tanya beat me up and broke my other ankle." I pointed to my other ankle that was turning purple. We got to the lair and Leo carried me in. "Bring her to the lab. Seeing her injuries, I need to measure her for a wheelchair." Donnie said, as Leo carried me into the lab. I sat on one of the tables for about 20 minutes. Donnie left the room and came back a few minutes later with a wheelchair. I sat in it and it was perfect. "Thank you Donnie." I smiled and wheeled into the living room, where Splinter was. "Sup, Splinter." I said. "Hello, Alexi." I wheeled to the TV and grabbed a controller and started to play a random game. Leo came and sat on the floor next to me. He had a saddened expression and watched me play the game.
