Elemental Heroes

Chapter 1: The prophecy and Rein

    A hundred years ago, a prophecy was born. The prophecy says that six children with extra-ordinary powers will be born. They will possess the ability to control the elements, namely water, fire, earth, air, nature and lightning. Together they will fight evil who seeks to take over the world. And they are willing to risk their own lives to save the whole world. And they will be called the Elemental Heroes.

*Present time*
Rein's POV

    Kon'nichiwa minna-san, I'm Rein Sapphire. I'm 14 years old and currently a grade 8 student. I have bright blue eyes, brown curly hair and snow like skin. Today is June 17, first day of classes. Its already 6:30 am so i need to get ready.

     I entered the bathroom, took a quick shower and goy dressed. I was wearing a simple blue dress with pink linnings at the bottom, sleeves, neckline and waist. I also wear blue flats and a hairband. My brown hair has big curls at the end. i went downstairs to be greeted by smiles from my parents and older sister.

Mom: Good morning, Rein.
Rein: Good morning. -Smiles-

    I sat on the round table beside my sister, Kiara. She smiled at me and i smiled back.

Kiara: Good morning, Rein. Ready for school?
Rein: Not really, I'm really nervous.
Dad: Don't be. I'm sure you'll be fine.
Rein: I hope si.

     We ate breakfast silently. After 15 minutes, we we're done. I looked at my wrist watch to see that it was already 7:15 am. I bid them my goodbye and ran out of our house. I rode my bike to school. After 15 minutes, I finally reached the school.

     I parked my bike and entered the school. i went straight to the principal's office. I took my schedule from him and headed to my room.

      While roaming the school, i bumped into someone. I dropped my books and fell on the floor.

???: Hey Kid, watch where you're going. -jokingly-
Rein: oh, sorry.

   I looked up to be meeting with black eyes. We had an eye contact. It was just for a fwe minutes but it felt like hours. I also saw that he has brown messy hair and tanned skin.

    He offered his hand to me which i gladly accepted. He helped me up. He also picked up my books and handed it to me. 'what a gentleman' i thought.

Dan: Hey, my name's Daniel Marasigan. But you can call me Dan. -stretched his hand to me-
Rein: Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Rein Sapphire. -Shook his hand-
Dan: So kid, where are u heading?
Rein: I'm looking for Mr. Garcia's class.
Dan: Great, We have the same class. We can go there together, if u want? -Blushes lightly-
Rein: Oh, sure. -smiles- (she did not see Dan blush)

Dan's POV

    I was walking by the corridor having a bad mood when i accidently bumped into a girl. I was about to shout at her but i stopped when i saw her. She has shiny brown hair, white skin and sapphire eyes. She was simply the most beautiful thing i laid my eyes on.

  I helped her up and i picked her books and handed it to her. She told me that her name was Rein and that she was looking for Mr. Garcia's class. My heart beats faster than normal. 'is this what they call love? i thought.
