Chapter 5: Elemental Heroes

Rein's POV
Queen Serenity: Now, will you chosen ones, accept the responsibility to save not just Earth but the whole universe from the biggest threat, Dark Prince?

      "Dark Prince? Hearing just his name makes me shiver. But I cannot let him take over the world. Many innocent lives will suffer. I need to do this." I thought determinely.

      I looked up to my friends and I can see that we were all thinking the same thing. We all stepped forward.
Chosen Ones: We do accept.
Queen Serenity: I know you will -smiles-

       Queen Serenity approaches us. She closed her eyes and casted a spell. When she was done, we all glowed. When the light was gone, the queen started to explain to us our powers and responsibility.

Queen Serenity: The spell I performed earlier was to awaken your powers. Now, all your powers are fully restored. Those necklace also plays a part on this. Each of it represents a trait that you possess. The Topaz represents bravery. The Diamond symbolizes faithfulness. The Garnet means perserverance. Ruby is for truthfulness. The Emerald means trustworthy and last is Sapphire that symbolizes wisdom. You all have special powers that only you can unlock.

Rein: how about Dark prince?
Queen Serenity: Dark prince is a man that possess a very large amount of dark magic. You all possess light magic, the complete opposite of his, that can challenge and defeat him. He was put to a deep slumber five hundred years ago.
Brix: by who?
Queen Serenity: by your ancestors of course. Thet put him on a deep slumber and will be awaken in this time period. They were the original Elemental Heroes.
Leo: elemental heroes?
Queen Serenity: Yes, you are all known to be the Elemental Heroes.
Brix: oh, that make sense.
Queen Serenity: Those necklace are teleporters. You can use them to teleport here. You all can train here and before I forget, the time flow here is different on Earth. One day here is only one minute on Earth. You should be here once in a while, you all need to master your elements so you will be prepared when you face Dark Prince.
Rein: Is Dark Prince our only enemy? I'm pretty sure he has minions to spy on us.
Queen Serenity: The trait wisdom fits you, Rein. You are really a like your grandmother Serena. Well to answer your question, yes, he has minions. He or she can be anywhere so be careful.
Rein: Serena?
Queen Serenity: Yes, Serena is your grandmother and the original Water Sorceress. She is really smart, not to mention beautiful and strong. As I can see, you inherit so much from her, Phyiscally and Emotionally.
Rein: Thank you.
Queen Serenity: Your welcome dear, but you better go now. Come back tomorrow, after your school. -Smiles-

      There was the light again. When we open our eyes, we were back at the mall. The shop disappeared.

       After planning what were gonna do tomorrow, we parted ways. I got home still wondering if it was true or not.

'I can't believe this is happening to me' I thought.
