Chapter 4: We are the Chosen Ones?

Rein's POV

     The day went in fast. Before I knew it, it was already dismisal time. Me and my friends decided to go the mall to celebrate my birthday. It's to bad because Aira, Dawn, Miyuki and Dan ca't come with us because of some personal issues they need to attend to. Well that means, it's the only six of us.

      We went to the cafe to have some desserts. We ate there and stayed there for 30 minutes. The cake was super yummy.

      We explored the mall for like an hour and something caught our eyes. It was an old-looking store.

      We hesitated at first but agreed to enter eventually. When we entered, the furniture's and stuffs there are all antique. The walls abd floors are made up of elegant wood.

      We looked around the store and something caught my attention. There was six necklace woth different gems. Each necklace has different gems. One with a sapphire, a ruby, an emerald, a topaz, a diamond, and a garnet. I took all six of them and showed it to the others.

      Each of us took a necklace. I took the sapphire, Flora took the emerald, Leo took the ruby, Kenneth took the topaz, Brix took the garnet while Kaito took the diamond.

      We all tried it on. And it all glowed at the same time. It glowed as bright as the sun. We needed to cover our eyes to shield it from the light.

      When it finally dimmed down, we gasped. We where not at the shop anymore nor at the mall. And it doesn't look familiar to me.

      It looks like we were in a castle. I looked around and gasped. What surrounds us are diamonds, elegant furnitures, marble floors and walls, Chandeliers, beautiful curtains, expensive paintings, and a grand staircase with a red carpet.

      Not long enough, a man dressed in a tux came down the staircase and said "may I present, Queen Serenity." he said motioning us to look at the staircase.

      A woman with beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes came out. She was wearing a very elegant pink ball gown. She was so beautiful.

Queen Serenity: Greetings, chosen ones. I know you are all wondering why you are all here. I just want to let you know that I summoned you all here using all those necklace you are all wearing. -motherly smile-
Rein: But why?
Queen Serenity: It is because it is time to fulfill your destinies.
Kaito: Destinies? What do you mean?
Queen Serenity: You six are chosen to possess the power to defeat evil who seeks to take over the world.

     Our eyes widened.
Kenneth: What power are you talking about?
Queen Serenity: You see, a hundred years ago, a prophecy was born. The prophecy says that six children will possess the power to stop and eliminate evil.
Flora: And you're telling us that we are six children chosen by the prophecy?
Queen Serenity: Yes, the mark on your shoulders shows the proof. It symbolize the power that you possess.

     "So that was the mark was about" I thought.
Queen Serenity: Flora, Your mark is a leaf. It means that you possess the power of Nature.
Flora: wow! -eyes widen-
Queen Serenity: Leo, Your mark is fire. That means you held the ability to control fire.
Leo: Awesome! -grins-
Queen Serenity: Kenneth, your mark is lightning. That means you control lightning.
Kenneth: No way.-shocked-
Queen Serenity: Brix, your mark symbolizes earth. It means that you can wield the element earth.
Brix: cool! -grins-.
Queen Serenity: Kaito, your mark is about wind. You can control wind.
Kaito: that's what i'm talking about! -smirks-
Queen Serenity: While your mark is a tear-drop, Rein. It means that you are one with water.
Rein: amazing -eyes widen-
Queen Serenity: Now chosen ones, will you accept the responsibility to save not just earth but the whole universe from the biggest threat, Dark prince?
