As we arrived at the street, there was a lot choice of fancy restaurant. I cannot resist the smell of aromatic bbq steaks and the spiciness of ddeobukki.I was in spilt of choices.The birds were roosting on the huge branch of trees,chirping in melody.
"Let's go eat kimbap."Wonwoo requested,pulling my arm to follow his lead.
We slid into a seat at the corner right beside the icy glass-windows.The waiter approached towards us and handed the menus."I'll choose kimbap and regular size of ddeobukki." Wonwoo ordered, pointing over the menu.
"Mine would be the same."I ordered and the waiter scrabbled the list on the notepad before heading away.
"So Wonwoo,anything you want to discuss with me?"I started the conversation."Are you getting well?"
"Even more when I saw you smiling."He smirked.
"Are you taking the pills regularly?"I continued as I ignore his statement just now.He nodded nonchalantly.
"How's life?I mean with Mingyu?"Wonwoo asked me as soon as the drinks had arrived.
I took a slurp of drink before answering his question.He continued with another question before I could answer the first one.
"How many times you guys on the bed and have you guys ever try to make a baby?"He sounded so serious this time.
I choked up because the drinks suddenly stuck inside my throat.I coughed as my cheeks got blush.He shouldn't ask that type of sensitive question.
"You shouldn't answer my dumb question because it is too sensitive to make into a conversation. Mianata(sorry).."he apologized and the kimbap and ddeobukki arrived."Let's eat then."
"Do you like kimbap?"I asked him to avoid any awkward situation.
"Are you kimbap kidding me?I really love it!"He took another bite as I sat silently."Eat your food,so you'll gain some weight."
I laughed and soon it became quiet again.Ommo so awkward.
"So you can walk by yourself to home after eating?"He winked playfully and laughed cheekily.
"NO!!."I protested as he put the kimbap into my mouth .
"Yum!"He exclaimed."Eat up!Or I'll feed you."
The delight on my face mix with surprise.I chewed slowly and swallowed the scrumptious food.
"I-I can eat by myself."I shuttered.
He looked at me with bright eyes lit up his face.His smile remains unchanged.I love he when he being in this way.
We strolled to the park, and we saw the most beautiful backdrop. Trees were everywhere and sunlight was trying its best to penetrate the thick lush greenery. Right at the very middle of the trees was a small lake. I leaned against the fence and admired the scene before me with awe.
"Do you like the scenery ?"Wonwoo said,leaning his body against the fence.He sat next to me and our distance just inch apart.Despite of that,a chill went down my spine.
Then, before I could even flick an eyelash, he planted a kiss on my lips that make me sat dumbfounded for a few seconds.After a few blinks,he put his head on my shoulder and murmured,"Saranghae,Hanuel."
At this moment,suddenly there's a butterfly in my stomach.His eyes turned red and watery as he held my hand. A tear of great happiness and comfort trickled down his cheeks till it was dangling on his chin.
"Saranghae,Wonwoo."I spoke out that confession words to him with delight as a return.
His mouth curled into a pleasant smile.That was the most dazzling smile I ever seen.The most egoistic guy I'd met was changed abruptly at this moment.
The sky was crystal clear as we continued strolling at the park with his thin and long fingers interwhined securely with mine.
"Nice weather,huh?"A raspy voice spoke out and there was a dandy douche approached towards us.
"Would you please leave us alone,Mingyu?"I begged as I grabbed Wonwoo's arm away.
"Never !Come back,Wifey!"Mingyu yelled and snapped my arms pulling me away from Wonwoo's grip.I winced painfully as his grip was so tight till I barely cant breath.
I bit his hand and I hit him a left hand in the V under his ribs where the sternum ends. It paralyzed his diaphragm and he gasped and doubled over and then pitched forward onto the sidewalk.
"Nice shot,kimbap!"Wonwoo squealed at me and we walked arms in arms towards the bus station .
Our love journey just started now.
