Ariana's POV
{2:00 PM}The crowd screamed so loud, I was sure I'd go deaf soon. The love and passion of my fans is the only thing that has kept my mind distanced from Quinn. I don't want to look at pictures of her, I don't want to call her or text her or even receive a text. It'd be too much for my already broken heart to handle.
What angers me beyond description is how she reacted. Or in this case, didn't act at all. I was wide awaken at 3 in the morning listening to her shuffle around and pace to lessen the anxiety. I didn't look it, but I was wide awake when I felt her kiss me before she left. Her sweatshirt is bundled up backstage, waiting patiently for me after concert.
"You're a little doughy in this area." Brian says poking vigorously at Scott's stomach.
"And you are here." Scott shoots back gripping Brian's arm.
"Whatever. Yo Ariana!"
I nod my head up to signal he's got my attention.
"That was good today. I know you weren't feeling 100% but you killed it."
"Thanks."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, why?"
"The Ariana I know is enthusiastic."
"Oh sorry. Just a little shaken by the crowd tonight. They were crazy."
"Yeah they were." He gave a fake laugh. "But its more than that. You should be happy you did so amazing."
"I am."
"Tell me what's wrong, Ar."
I sigh in defeat.
"You remember Quinnlyn right?"
"Yeah? The one who tried to beat me at a dance off."
"Yes her." I roughly play with my fingers. "I kinda maybe sorta have a crush on her."
"Aww just like Rihanna."
"No Brian you idiot."
"You...?"
"I do." I look down.
"You know I support you."
"thank you so much."
"But what's wrong with that?" He still keeps the confused face present.
"Well she left yesterday-family emergency- and I just don't think the sad feelings were mutual."
"You don't think she misses you?" He questions.
"No. I don't."
"Ari." He wines supportively
He embraces me in a crushing hug.
"I'm sure she misses you."
"You don't know that." I can feel the emotions kicking in. Even after I promised I wouldn't even think about her.
"I do." He smirks pulling away from the hug.
I lift a heavy eyebrow and gently pull out my in ears.
"Did you see the way she looked at you last concert?"
"How?" I ask.
"Dude. She couldn't pick her jaw up off the floor. She filled the Mississippi with her drool. And she just had that twinkle."
"Brian cmon let's go!!!" Scott echoes to the now deserted stadium.
"What twinkle?"
Brain slowly paces backwards to the prep rooms where Scott called for him.
