I stood shivering outside of starbucks. Double checking my phone to make sure this is where he had said we where meeting.

It had 24 hours since my arrival in LA. I was yet to find my way around my new home. Each room was fitted with modern furniture and featured a tall ceiling and many windows.

The kitchen was made out of oak and had solid marble bench tops. The lounge room had a huge fire place which took up half of one wall. The couchs where all connected and made one huge V shape around the whole room. But my favorite part of the house was my bedroom.

The room was the only place in the house which was old fashioned. My four poster king bed was fitted with baby pink damask sheets and had to many throw pillows pilled onto it. The vanity was stocked with all the beauty nessisaties possible (curtisy of Melissa) and the closet was yet to be filled with clothes as my father had sent me to the mall with an unlimited debit card and his last words being "Remember, you had a whole wall of cuboards to fill".

"Tilly?" a husky voice came from behind me, I quickly turned around to see a boy rugged up in a scarf, beanie and trenchcoat looking straight at me.

"Luke?" I questioned.

"hah yeah," he replied "I didn't think you where gonna show" he laughed.

"What? Why wouldn't I come" I blushed. Luke smiled at me and pointed to the doors of Starbucks.

"Common, It's freezing out here, let's get inside yeah?".

Luke ordered two Vanilla bean frappé's and the waitdress pointed us towards an empty table.

"Thanks" Luke smiled at her seductively.

"That's okay," she giggled flirtatiously "Maybe i'll see you around?"

Oh no. I thought. I could feel the jealousy bubbling through me. What the hell? I don't even know him? He isn't my boyfriend. Tilly! Cut it out!

"Yeah maybe" Luke turned away from her and focused his attention on me as the waitress walked off sulking.

"Hey are you okay?" he asked, his goofy smile sipping on his drink.

"Um yes. You know I can go if you want to go hang out with your lady friend?" I spat.

"Tilly, she was just being friendly"

"I know! I never said..."

"Don't worry about it," he laughed " hey you've got a bit of..."

"what?" I asked. Before I could more Lukes hand softly brushed against my nose whipping away some foam.

"thank erh um thank-you" I muttered. We sat in silence both evaluating the building tension between us.

"Do you wanna go," he asked "Maybe go see a movie or something"

"Yes" I breathed already pushing myself out of my chair.
