Sadako Yamamura was born with a special gift just like her mother. Sadako was never allowed to play with other children because some people feared what she could do with her gifts. She was a lonely little girl and grew up to be a lonely and, understandably, angry woman.Someone eventually acted on their fear and Sadako was punished for it.
Because of her gifts she was able to communicate with other people even after her death. There were still people who felt that she shouldn't be playing with anyone though, and they tried to stop her. They thought she should finally rest in peace and were trying to help her do that. Sadako tried to explain that she was at peace because she finally got to play with other children.
