"This man is as slippery as an eel."

"So after all of that you will use Lord Lich-El's plan after all?"

"Yes, provided they haven't discovered our spy."

"If they have it's your fault for acting outside of Lord Lich-El's orders.

"Remember your place human, just because you're favored by our leader, don't think you are beyond my reach."

Gidon was riding in a basket atop a mammoth when they came into view of Debigroc. First there was the cliff rising high above the ground marking the beginning of the Barrier Mountains. It was a wall of stone that ran as far as could be seen to the north and the south.

They were riding towards a crack in the cliff with a manmade wall stretching the length of the crack. Gidon knew the wall was large but in comparison with the immense cliff on either side it looked tiny.

"How could such a thing come to be?" Gidon asked in awe to no one in particular.

"Mundial told me when he first found this world it was frozen. He told me this cliff was made by a mountain of ice much larger then these mountains. It carved the cliffs by sliding slowly south from the Dividing Mountains," Lord Teanas said from next to Gidon.

The high lord turned to his elvish companion, "If memory serves me Debigroc was once an elvish city?"

"It was one of our royal cities. I used to play along side this very river with my siblings as a child."

Lord Teanas had a wistful far away look in his eyes as he looked at the city.

"You elves built it well," Lord Mason said from behind them, "The Crafters Guild have a very high standard for their buildings and cities. We kept all the original buildings and have only added onto what was already here."

"The walls are enchanted also,"Lord Teanas added," Even Lich-El could not break through them."

"That is well,"Gidon said, "Our people can get some rest here and maybe we can see if we can't stip reacting in this war and start acting. By now the Aguarius Province should be completely evacuated and the first phase of our plan completed. Now it's time to start the second phase and show our enemies we can do more than run."
