Chapter 8

Harrys POV

Yesterday was a huge day for us, our 3 best friends are in hospital and two of them currently can’t move. We all decided to go home last night and get some rest. We were meant to be leaving for Sydney today but as you can tell we can’t so we had to move all the dates’ back a few weeks and hope that Zayn, Niall and Calum are fully recovered.

There is nothing here to do because we have no more shows and its cold outside so I called Maddy to see if she was busy today. I dialled her number and it took a while for her to answer.

“Hello?” she yawned into the phone.                              

“Sorry did I wake you up? I can call back later if you want”

“No its fine, I’m up now!”

“Alright well what are your plans for today, I’m bored because we have no more shows and Louis and Liam are with Angela and Skye today” I sighed.

“Nothing I’m free but let me get ready first then I’ll come over and keep you compony” and she quickly hung up before I could even answer her.

I wondered why she was in a rush then I remembered a few nights ago Ash told me that Maddy liked me back but I guess I had so much on my mind that I forgot. I smiled thinking about her and wondering if she knows I like her back, I will talk to her about it later. I snapped out of my day dream when I heard a knock at the door. I got up and opened the door and there Maddy was looking as cute can be.

“Hello “I said, leaning in to hug her. She just smiled shyly.

“Come in!” she walked in and awkwardly sat on the couch and I sat right next to her. I frowned because I’m guessing she was really shy so to break the tension I suggested we watch a movie. I picked up the TV remote and flicked through some of the movie channels and when I saw that one of my favourite movies ’The Notebook ’ was on I left it and smiled at Maddy who seems a bit more relaxed now.

“Do you like this movie?” I asked.

“Yeah I love it” she said smiling brightly with her green eyes sparkling. I couldn’t get comfortable because it was really getting to me knowing that we liked each other and we both knew it. I paused the movie and turned to Maddy who now had her legs laid across the couch and was looking at me confused because I stopped the movie. She sat up and I took her hand, put it on my thigh with mine on top.

“Look I know you like me and I can’t sit here without letting you know how I feel about you too. I like you, a lot and it makes me mad that we aren’t going out yet because I’ve liked you since the moment I laid eyes on you. I know you’re one of my best friend’s sisters but I don’t care. Will you please be my girlfriend Maddy?” it felt so good to get that out. Her checks went completely red and I just chuckled to myself.

“Yes harry of Couse I will” she practically screamed while jumping up to hug me as I held her tightly. “But how did you know I liked you, did ash tell you? That kid’s mouth is massive...” she sighed and let go of me. I nodded and pecked her lips.

*4 hours later*

We watched a few classic movies before I felt my stomach rumbling so I got up if the couch and took Maddy’s hand, dragging her out of the hotel and into the street. I checked to see if there were any paparazzi’s around and luckily there weren’t.

I grabbed her hand and locked it with mine. It just felt natural and comfortable. We hadn’t really got to know each other that well so we played a game of 20 questions on the way to the restaurant. I started simple with “what’s your favourite food?” and yes I only asked that because I have no idea where I was going and I was hoping she would say something that we would walk past sometime soon.
