Mornings like this {13}

The sun was seeping through the curtains when I opened my eyes.  Quinn was still sleeping beside me, his chest slowly moving up and down.He looked so peaceful, almost unreal.

  He suddenly rolls over, puts his arm around me and pulled me closer. I let out an involuntary sigh and leaned to kiss his forehead. His eyes cracked open revealing those beautiful blue eyes that mesmerized me. I reached a hand up to gently brush my thumb across his cheek.  He smiled into my hand as I stoked his cheek. 

 There were no words between us, just absolute, beautiful silence. 

Our eyes lock and I leaned forward and gently brushed my lips against his. He inhaled sharply and pulled me close.His hands reach down and flipped me. I land softly on the pillows with him above me, his face glistening because of the sun.I ran my hands upto his shoulders and around his neck, pushing my fingers into his hair, grasping his lip in my teeth and pulled away gently. He lets out a quick moan of relief and envelops me in his arms, kissing me with passion and holding me tightly against his body. I pulled back due to the lack of oxygen and looked at him before giving one last peck. He propped himself up and leaned against the headboard and I did the same. 

Our breaths fills the silence between us. 

I calmed the zoo in my stomach and said " Good morning" . My words came out like a whisper.

I like how easy it easy it was with Quinn. I don't have to try hard to be impressive. He became a daily part of my day. Every text he sent me, every call, every conversation made me fall more and more. I knew that It was dangerous but I liked the thrill of the process of falling. I liked the way he looked at me like I meant more to him than he does to me.  I was falling and falling fast.

I especially loved mornings like this.

"Now that's what I call a good morning " 

Now I wake up everyday without you by my side.
