In this so called perfect world the one you will be with for the rest of your life is chosen at a very young age. The story centers around a girl/guy who gets betrayed by their betrothed. They are close friends with them and have ideas that the government is wrong but you're betrothed falls in love with someone else and is imprisoned. So you get a new one. After that she's always trusted the government that is until she/he falls in love them self.
