Last night, Ash, Clemont, Bonnie and Serena payed you a visit, saying that Ash wanted another Pokemon battle before the league to get him pumped for when himself and Alain battle against each other.

You were walking by Serena as the two male trainers found a suitable place to battle, "You should tell him y'know."

Serena's face blushed red as she snapped her head towards you, "W-what are you talking about?!" She asked, trying to avoid the conversation.

"I see the way you look at him. You like him." You teased, nudging her in the ribs with your elbow.

"How do you know that look?" She asked me, curiously.

"Because, Alain looked at me like that before he tried to kiss... me..." You slowed down to a halt when you realised what you confessed.

Serena stopped, realising what you said and bursted out laughing.

"Huh?" Alain and Ash turned around at the pair of you and asked if everything was alright.

"Yeah, yeah. We're fine. Don't worry about us. WE'll bE JuST fInE." You looked at Serena with a 'really' face because her voice went up and down like a seesaw.

"If you say so." Alain flashed you a smile before turning back around and continued arguing with Ash.

You glared at Serena, "Is that really the best you could do at lying? 'We'Ll Be JuSt FiNe!'?"

She put her hand up in defence and widened her eyes in a sorry manner, "Sorry. I wasn't brought up to lie."

Your eyes widened slightly, 'When was she so sassy?'

"Alright, we're here." Alain's voice was more serious and deep. You felt your face heat up.

Serena smirked at your flushed state.

"Shut up." You muttered, not making eye contact.

"Didn't say anything." She said in a sing-song voice.

"Alright, Kalos Princess." She wasn't really Kalos Princess, you just decided to get back at her for teasing.

You both kept quiet -after you received an eye roll from Serena- and watched the battle go on. It was Alain and his Charizard versus Ash and his Pikachu.

It was a really tense fight and had escalated very quickly.

Each Pokémon were down to a critical state, trying to land a hit without the other intercepting.

You could clearly see each trainer was sweating, feeling the exhaustion from the adrenaline rush that comes with the battle...

Finally, the blue-haired trainer told his Charizard to use Blast Burn. While it wasn't as effective, it still done alot of damage to Ash's Pikachu and the battle was immediately handed to Alain and Charizard.

You jumped up and cheered as you ran across the battlefield and went straight over to Alain, making a complete fool out of yourself by hugging him and immediately pulling away with a flushed face, realizing what you had just done.

You pointed over your shoulder and stuttered, "Yeah... I'm just going to--"

Before you finished, you dashed off into the Pokemon Center whilst you heard the others erupt into laughter whilst Alain couldn't help to feel really giddy and feeling as though you were still embracing his tall -but thin- frame.
