there was a girl with hair somewhere in between brown and blonde with eyes the color of autumn leaves.
she smiled at everyone she met, flipping her hair but not in a conceited sort of way.
everyone knew her.
everyone loved her.
she had a small piece of everyone she knew.
she remembered those pieces flawlessly and happily.
but at the end of the night, she folded herself up and cried softly into her skin.
her sobs would shake her body so much she wouldn't be able to see straight.
everything would be coated in the blurriness of movement.
she would dry her tears sloppily with quaking hands.
she would swallow the rest of her tears that she didn't get to cry that night.
then she would sleep for hours.
and when she woke up she would be the ray of sunshine everyone saw her as, holding onto the fragments of everyone else so she could stay sane.
