Henry's POV Me,Ray,and Charlotte were at the police station putting that guy in jail. I'm glad Charlotte's ok,but it still shocked me that someone kidnapped her and I think she can read it in my face. "Henry are you ok? That guy is in prison now." She said with a worried look on her face. "What if you couldn't fight him yourself char? What If me and ray came and it was too late? Tears started to form. "Henry don't think like that ok? I'm here and I'm fine. I'm not going anywhere." She assured me. She wiped my tears away and I was just looking at her eyes for a long time. I was leaning in and so was she. As we almost kissed I heard someone call my name.
Now
Henry's POV "Henry!" I heard Jasper yell my name. "Jasper why are you here?" I asked confused and a little shocked of what happened earlier. Charlotte was just standing with her head down. "Oh I'm here on a scavenger hunt. You have to find buckets all over Swellveiw! Was I just about to see you guys kiss? He asked. "Umm I think my mom is calling me I gotta go bye!" I walk away as fast as I can without looking looking back.
Charlotte's POV Now it's just me and Jasper and I haven't said a single word. "Why haven't you said anything char?" Jasper asked. "I don't know. I guess I just don't feel like talking." I didn't want to come across mean but I really don't feel like talking. "Do you like Henry?" Jasper asked out of the blue. I just look down. Even if you don't, I ship it!" Jasper said cheerfully. I see him get in his phone and start typing. I feel my hand vibrate. I look at my phone and see a text from Jasper. Jasper👍:

Jasper👍: I never thought about that oh,and one more thing Charlotte😇😜: What? Jasper👍:ANSWER THE QUESTION! Charlotte😇😜: ...fine yea I like it. Jasper👍: so you like him?! I didn't want to answer that question so I just turned my phone off. I noticed that it was 11:30 and my curfew is 9:00. "I'm going to be in so much trouble" I say to myself. I ran home,and as soon as I walk through the door my mom and dad literally jumped off the couch and ran to and saying things like: "oh my gosh Charlotte are you okay?! With a mixture of: "you are in so much trouble Charlotte what were you thinking?! "I'm sorry I was with Henry and Jasper and I lost track of time. It wasn't really a lie. I was with Henry and Jasper. "But why weren't you at school?" My mom asked. I was to busy thinking about Henry and what Jasper was asking me, I forgot all about me being kidnapped. I had to come up with something quick. "Um I wasn't feeling well so I stayed home and after I felt better so I went to Henry's house. Not one of my best lies, but they can't prove I'm lying because, my mom And dad both work until school is over. "I don't believe you, but I'm glad you're ok." My dad said. "But you do need punishment." My mom added. "I'm taking your phone for two weeks." She concluded. I sighed. Ok well I'm going to bed. I handed her my phone, took a shower ,brushed my teeth and went to bed. Just when I was about to fall asleep, I heard a knock on my door. I opened my window to see Henry. "Henry what are you doing here at this time?" I asked clearly irritated. "Sorry I just needed to talk to you." He said "At this time of night?" I asked still irritated. "Yes" he replied. "Why now?" "Just stop asking questions and let me in." Now he sounds irritated. I let him in and we both sat on my bed. "Now what did you want to talk about?" I asked. I took a deep breath. "We need to talk about what happened earlier at the police station." My cheeks got hot. I knew exactly what he was talking about. He was talking about that almost kiss that happened but I don't wanna talk about it so I act like I don't know. "What happened?" I asked nervously. "You know what happened." He told me. I'm really trying to avoid this. "No I don't know what happened." Henry sighed. "Well I'll show you what happened." Henry started leaning towards me and I just sit there. I want to stop this,but at the same time I don't so I start leaning in too. We are inches apart and then all a sudden, I feel his lips on mine. I feel sparks all over me but then I pull away. He looks at me confused. "Henry,that was not talking." I tell him. "Well you kept trying to avoid it so,I showed you instead." He replied. Henry,you can't just go around kissing people. You have a girlfriend!" I whisper yell. "Well if it makes you feel any better,I don't like Bianca. He says with a smile on his face. "That does not make me feel better!" I whisper yell once again. "Will this?" Henry asks while he tries to kiss me again. I want to,but we can't keep doing this. "Henry,no we have to talk about this." I tell him while backing away so I avoid the kiss. "Fine" he started. "You like me,I like you,problem solved. I sigh. "No the problem is not solved like I told you before,you have a girlfriend whether you like her or not." I told him. He looked sad and that just made me want to kiss him. "We can talk more tomorrow but now I need to sleep. "Ok see you tomorrow char." Henry said. He walked out of the window and I closed it. I flopped on my bed and all I could thinks about for the rest of the night was that kiss.
