My friend pointed out that in the first chapter of my book,Henry said that he and Bianca broke up but in the third chapter Charlotte says Henry still goes out with her so I changed the first chapter just a little. Sorry guys!
Charlotte's POV
This past week has been really weird with Henry and Jasper. First,Jasper hadn't really been spending time with me or Henry,but I have seen him m with Chloe a lot. But when I asked him does he like her,he just smiled and walked away. Ah Jasper,I'll never understand you.
Now,what's weird with Henry is he is just not himself. Henry is acting different around me. It's like he...changed. The bad part is,I don't know if this change is good or bad. For instance,he always wants to partner with me for projects instead of partnering with Bianca,sits by me at lunch,and he always comes over my house after school. I wonder what Bianca feels,but at the same time,I don't care. I've tried talking to him about that night we kissed,but every time I try I get to nervous and I don't know why. "Hey char" I look back to see Henry behind me. This might be the best time to ask him why he is acting so weird. "Henry what is going on with you? You are acting so clingy around me lately and it's really annoying. I let it all out but I feel kind of bad now cause I did t mean to sound rude. "I'm sorry char but ever since that kiss I can't get you out of my head. But i don't want you thinking I'm annoying so I'll just back off for a while." Henry said heartbroken. Now I really feel bad. "Henry wait." I call. "Yea?" He asks. "I'm so sorry hen." I tell him "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Can you forgive me?" I ask. Instead of answering my question,he kisses me. In front of everyone. During the kiss,I felt those same sparks I felt last time we kissed,but after I get really mad at him for doing this while he has a girlfriend. The bell rings and I walk off without saying a word.
Right now I'm in Ms.Shapen's class and Bianca keeps looking back at me. "Ok class get out your math textbooks and turn to page 73" Ms Shapen said like she regretted her life choices. "Ms. Shapen,can I go get my textbook,I think I left it in Charlotte's locker." Bianca said in the most innocent voice ever. "She really needs to learn how to tell a good lie." I mutter to myself. "Ok well Charlotte go with Bianca and get her math textbook." Ms. Shapen told me. We walk out of the classroom and as soon as we are a good distance away front the classroom,she pushes me and my back hits the wall as she says: "Why are you making my life miserable?!" Me? Making her life miserable? She's got it all wrong. "No sweetie,your making my life miserable by standing in my presence." I snap at her. "Also,how do I make YOUR life miserable?!" I yell at her. "First if all,you face makes me sick. Second of all,your stealing Henry away fr- I stop her right there. "What are you talking about? I ask. "Henry never spends time with me,he's always around you and Jasper,and he acts like you're his girlfriend and I'm not!" I see tears in her eyes. Wow. "Well I'm sorry Bianca but I can't control what Henry does. And if you think that I'm trying to steal him from you you're wrong! I yell at her.
I walk back into class and slumped into my chair. I'm ready for this day to be over with. Henry keeps glancing at me every so often and I can see it in the corner of my eye and I'm getting really annoyed. I look at him with a very irritated face and that seemed to make him stop. At lunch I sat alone and so did Henry but Jasper is sitting with Sydney and Oliver. I don't see Henry where he was sitting anymore he probably went to the bathroom. I get up from my seat and go outside of the school to the football field. I feel like crying right now because just feel alone. I walk around and see a figure under the bleachers. As I get closer,I can see the persons face and lie and behold,it's Henry. "Why are you down here?" I ask. I'm still mad at him but I can't be forever. "I just feel like being alone." He says. "That's exactly how I feel." I confess. It's silent for a while until Henry speaks up and says: " I'm sorry for what happened earlier I just couldn't control myself but it probably makes you hate me more. I see tears in his eyes. "I don't hate you Henry,it's just that it felt weird with me being the only one you really hang out with for the past week and I didn't know how to respond to that. The truth is I really like you but I know how you were with All you girlfriend and I didn't want to be heartbroken." I confess. "Well thanks for telling me and the reason I dated those girls is because I tried to get my mind off of you but it didn't work out but if you wanna be just friends for now it's ok." It takes me a while to process this. Henry has been liking me this whole time? Wow. "Yea I would still like to be friends Henry. I pull him into a hug and we stay like that for a while until it time to go to our next class. I'm glad we agreed to just be friends for now.
Henry's POV
I'm not happy we agreed to be just friends! I think I'm going to go crazy if I can't have her but I guess I'll just have to wait. After school,I just wanna watch tv and eat pizza so,that's exactly what I'm going to do. I ask my mom can we order pizza for dinner and she agrees. I sit down on the couch and watch spongebob because I hear it's ending soon and that's my show! "Henry stop hogging the T.V.!" Piper yells at me. She grabs the remote but I snatch it back. "MOM HENRY WONT LET ME WATCH T.V.!" Piper screamed. "Henry let Piper watch what she wants. My mom says. "But I had it first!" I whine. "I know but you know what happens when she doesn't get her way." "Unbelievable." I say as I walk up the stat to my room. I dextrose text Jasper since I haven't been hanging out with him for a while.
Henry😎: Hey Jasper
Jasper👍: Hey. Wyd?
Henry😎: I was trying to watch T.V. But Piper got her way as usual🙄
Jasper👍: That sounds like Piper anyway,there is a party on Saturday. wanna go?
Henry😎: maybe. Where is it?
Jasper👍: Blakes house.
Henry😎: ugh that guy. Probably won't be able to go anyway
Jasper👍: please? I'm going with Chloe and I don't want it to be just the two of us. It'll be awkward.
Henry😎: Fine I'll go. So you like Chloe?
Jasper👍: maybe. Is that a problem because I don't want you to be mad at me.
Henry😎: no its cool. I actually think you guys would be a cute couple but I'm about to fall asleep so gn.
Jasper👍: Gn
After that I put my phone on the charger and went to sleep.
