Chapter 7: Trapped

Previously...
"Charlotte,can I ask you a question?" I ask. "Yea" she says. Well I wanna ask you - my watch beeps. Perfect timing Ray,perfect timing. Me and Charlotte go where there isn't a lot of people and I answer. "What's up Ray?" I ask. "There's a party at some guy named Blake's house. Do you know him?" He asks.  "Yea we're at his house right now why?" Charlotte asks. "There's a guy at that house who goes by the name Blackout. He goes up to people,sprays them with some kind of gas,and they blackout without ever waking up with an antidote that Shwoz is working on.
Ray tells us. "What does he look like?" I ask. He has black hair,an eye patch,and he has in a red tux on. I need you to find him and when you do,beat him up,and then contact me. He tells us. "Ok well look for him" I say. When we turn around to look for him,I get sprayed in the face and I see a guy with an eye patch before I black out.

Now..

Henry's POV
I wake up with a massive headache and no memory of what happened in the last couple hours. I realize I'm in a glass cage with hundreds of other glass boxes with people in them. What the heck?! I mentally yell. It all comes back to me. Me and Charlotte had gotten kidnapped by Blackout.
I pound myself against the glass trying to break it. "You won't be able to get out of there Kid Danger." I hear a voice say. I see Blackout walk in.
"Sorry Kid Danger but this glass is unbreakable. Looks like you going to be here for a long time." He says. "What do you want?!" I ask/yell. "Well if you must ask,after I kidnap a person and place them in a glass cage,I release gas from the top of the ceiling that makes the person basically erase everything they know. No thoughts. No memory. No personality. The only thing they do is listen to my commands. Once I have enough people,I will release them all and will conquer the world." He says like it's the best thing ever. Across from me,I see Charlotte and my eyes widen. I was about to say something to her but I see her put her finger to her mouth,telling me to be quiet. Then I get a text. Blackout didn't even take our phones. Some criminal.

Charlotte✝️💕:Keep Blackout distracted. I have an idea to get us and the rest of us out of here.

I look at Charlotte and nod my head,telling her that I understand. "How are you going to conquer the world by only people from Swellview?" I ask. "I'm by going from city to city,state to state,country to country,continent to continent until I have full control." He stated as if it was the most easiest thing ever. "I'm that would take to long and you look like the type that is pretty impatient." I say. "I am not impatient and even if I was,I would still wait. He said.
"No you wouldn't."
"Yes I would."
"No you wouldn't."
"Yes I would."
I wonder how long I'll be able to keep this up. "So anyways-" Blackout said before he turned around. "Hey what do you think you doing?!"

Charlotte's POV

I guess so we don't die in here,there are holes at the top of these cages so I get an idea of how to get out of here. At the top of cage there are wires and I'm thinking,that if I cut the right one,we will be able to get out of these horrid cages. Fortunately,Blackout has labeled these wires and fortunately,my mother has always told me to keep a weapon in my purse and that weapon is scissors. I see Henry look at me and he widens his eyes. I motion for him to quiet. I get my phone out my purse and I text him to distract Blackout.
After I did that, I put the scissors through the hole and cut the wire. All the cages in this row open. "What do you think your doing?!" Blackout yells. Uh oh. Me and Henry get out and tell all of the people in that row to get out. They do and run somewhere.
As soon as he were going to battle Blackout,he was nowhere to be seen. Then we heard an intercom come on. "You may have freed a few people Kid Danger and Kid Danger's girlfriend- "even in our current situation,I smile at his comment. "But I still have hundreds more people." He says.
As soon as he was done speaking,gas went into all the other cages. Minions,attack Kid Danger and the girls!" Blackout yells from the intercom. Just then,the cages were opened. "Oh boy" Henry says. We try to make a run for it,but we were soon surrounded by people who have been brainwashed. Me and Henry try to fight them off,but there's just too many of them. That's when I look up and I see Ray in his Caption Man outfit.
Me and Henry manage to get away and hide from all the brainwashed people. Captain man runs to us and says "I have the antidote." "Good." I say. "All you need to do is switch out the bottle of the gad that made them brainwashed,and replace it with this one." C.P. says,holding up the bottle. "I'll change the bottles,C.P. and K.D. lead them all into one cage so I can use the antidote all at one I say. "Sounds like a plan Henry says and him and C.P. go and lead them while I go to change the bottles.
I look around and I see stairs that lead up to a room and I decide to go in there. Sure enough,this is the main room with the brainwashing gas. I look out the door and see that Caption Man and Kid Danger have them trapped so I get ready to change to bottles.
"You're ending this so soon?" I turn around and see that Black out was behind me. "Sorry but I guess you,Captain Man and Kid Danger won't be able to beat me this time. He get the bottle of the brainwashing gas and empties it on my head. My world is going black for the second time today. Yay.

Henry's POV

"What's taking her so long?" Captain Man asks. "I don't know." I say I'm pretty sure it doesn't take that long to switch up the bottles. I hope nothing happened to her. "I'll go look for her." I tell Captain Man. "Ok kid. Don't take to long." He tells me.
I go up to the room and see Charlotte sitting in a chair and Blackout telling her something. "Charlotte?" She doesn't answer. "Char?" I ask again. "She won't speak unless I tell her too Kid Danger. Blackout says. "Did you gas Charlotte?!" I yell/ask. "Yes Blackout replies. "Now Charlotte,take care of Kid Danger." He says.
Just then,Charlotte throws a punch at me. I barley miss. Then she grabs my arm,pulls it,and swings me over her shoulder. I land on my back and groan in pain. "I don't want to hurt you." I tell her. She doesn't reply but just looks at me with no emotion. This reminds me of the time When Charlotte got brainwashed my Dr.Minyak.
Charlotte comes running towards me and luckily,I was right I front of the door so all I did was open it and she missed me and ran out the door and I close it. After that I swing a punch at Blackout and he falls to the ground.
I tell Captain Man to put Charlotte in the Cage with everyone else and he does. Then I put the antidote in goes all over the people in the cage and then they become normal again.
I open the door to let everyone out and Captain Man goes to get Blackout. After all that,the citizens of Swellview returned to their homes and Blackout went to jail. Now me and Charlotte are at my house in the living room.
"So you telling me that I fought you and won?" Charlotte says between laughs. "You didn't win but when you threw me over you shoulder,it really hurt. I say. Then she laughs harder. After the laughing dies down Charlotte asks me a question. "When we were still at the party,you said you had something to tell me." She says. Oh yeah. I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend. Well it's now or never. "Well Charlotte,I like you a lot and I was going to ask,would you be my girlfriend?" I ask. I can see Charlotte blush. "Yes Henry. I would love to be your girlfriend she says." The she kisses me. Looks like I've got my wish.
