Ch. 4: Welcome to Enver

Demetri walked down the hall, smiling at the wolves that he passed. Every time he passed, they bowed in submission. It never gets old.

His smile was quickly dissolved when he walked into his room. Not only was Justin asleep and not guarding Kothari, They were sleeping together. Her hair was a mess, laying across his chest. Their fingers were loosely intertwined. He only wanted Kothari for power. yeah, keep telling yourself that, he thought to himself.

He was angry. He kicked the bed as hard as he could. Not only did the bed go halfway across the room. It flipped over.

Astrae awoke by abruptly smacking her face on the floor.

“JUSTIN!” Astrae recognized Demetri’s voice, he was angry. She smiled a bit but stood up. She wouldn’t let him hurt Justin.

“Calm down Demetri.” Astrae said. He promptly ignored her. He walked straight past her to Justin who was scrambling up off of the floor.

“Demetri I-” Justin was cut off by Demetri clawing him across his face. Astrae’s anger was boiling, and again her gums were throbbing. Without thinking, she grabbed his shoulder and threw him across the room. Demetri hit the opposite wall in shock. He never knew succubi were so strong.

“What the fuck is your problem!” She screamed at him. He smiled.

“Justin was sleeping with my mate, I would hope you would do the same if you found a woman sleeping in my bed.” His tone was teasing. Astrae was trying as hard as she could to keep her composure but after throwing him against a wall, all she wanted was more.

“I forced him to sleep with me. I didn’t want anyone watching me sleep. You well know I control emotions.” She snapped. 

Although Demetri was acting calm cool and collected, he wanted nothing more then to rip out Justin’s heart. Although Kothari was making sense. She had to be touching him to control him.

“Justin, this is your warning. You are not to talk to Kothari. You are not to touch Kothari. You are not even allowed to think about Kothari. Oh, and if you try to read Kothari, it better be with my permission or be prepared to be a three legged wolf.” He snapped. Justin cowered back with every word, and Demetri knew he had gotten through to him. He turned back to smile at Kothari, who looked completely annoyed. “Come come love, were opening a portal now.” 

Astrae was disgusted with him, but she knew if she gave Justin even one look of sorrow he would get it worse. Demetri would pay for this in good time. She let him take her hand and lead her down the hall to a large room. There were couches and televisions, so she had to imagine it was a gaming room.

There was a man quickly writing symbols on the wall, his heart beating quickly. He was terrified. She recognised the symbols as witchcraft. He must be a wizard. 

Seconds later, he stopped writing. The spell was complete. He took a step back as the wall started crumbling. It was like a vacuum. Pieces of the wall fell off piece by piece and the vacuum just started sucking them in more and more. 

Demetri watched in amazement as the portal opened. He hadn’t been to the other world since he was a young man one hundred and fifty years ago. The portal coming to earth was different, It was like a door. This was a homemade portal. His old alpha would be proud.

Instead of challenging his old alpha, he just left. He ended up joining a pack of 6 others when he got to earth. He chose to kill that alpha. He was weak and they thought humans had purpose. When his pack grew, he killed them off. The only one from the original pack that is still alive is a woman. Her name is Katrine. She never challenged him and she was first to submit after he killed her alpha. She was a no questions asked kind of girl. Too bad she was just another wolf, her loyalty would make her a fine mate.
