Seeing Them Again.

"Well, I feel the same, let's get moving, shall we?"

They walked into town, the first person they ran into was Ivan.

"Why are you here, Ivan?" Natasha asked, not really wanting to know the answer.

"Because, like the rest of the people down here, I have unfinished business. The knowledge I possess. I need to give it to you, Natalia, something that you've always wanted to know." 

"And what's that, Ivan?" 

"Your past. Your family. You were born in Stalingrad, Russia, as you know. Your birthday is January 7th. Your parents are Katalina and Vlad. Your father was a rich business man that eventually helped Walter Stark and his son out of the fruit shop business and into the big industry. He kept his family secret and gave all of his children your mother's maiden name, Romanova. I got an offer from the Red Room that if were to acquire you and your sister for them, I would get a high position. So, I offed your parents and brothers. Don't worry, they fought to save you. But you know the end result."

"How dare you say that as if you are invincible. If you need reminding, I killed you."  

"I do remember. Just one more little thing, Natalia. You were born in 1928. You always knew there was something different about you. Why else would Captain America being alive in 2011 wasn't a surprise to us?"  Natasha stood perfectly still, but almost too still.

"Goodbye, Natalia." He walked away.  

Nobody spoke, or moved, until Natasha started walking again. They kept looking around. Just as they were processing the information that they were just given, they saw Bucky's sister, Bella, with a man and two children.

"James." She said. She ran up to him and hugged him. "I've missed you so much, how did you get here? You didn't die, did you?"   

"No, I didn't die."   

"Oh, thank goodness. Oh, uh, how do I say this? Um, Dad's here." 

"What?" 

"And Mom. And Betty. Becca passed through to Heaven thirty years ago."  

"Why are any of you here?"   

"You. You're the youngest, our baby brother, and Ma's favorite."  

"Do you know where they are?"  

"They should be at Granny's but before we go," The two kids that were a small distance away ran up.

"Hi, Uncle James," They greeted. "You remember my kids, Scott and Kimberly."  Bella said. "And my husband, Jason."

The man smiled and waved slightly.

"And I have two people that I need to introduce you to," He pointed to Karina and Grace. "That's my wife, Karina, and my daughter, Grace." They waved. "You remember Steve, right?"

"I do, but, that can't be him. He's too tall, and well, too muscular."  

"Hi, Bella. It's me." 

She went over to him and pretended to inspect him. "Prove it."  

"Every week, your mom would sneak me a cheesecake in an attempt to fatten me up, although it didn't work as she planned, it was very delicious."  

"Oh, yeah. It's him. If some of these people didn't have a story to tell, I'd ask how on Earth that happened. Speaking of which, there's a guy that says he knows you. What was his name? Uh......Errande. No, it was, oh, Erskine."  

"Abraham Erskine?" Peggy questioned.

"Yeah, that sounds right." 

Stunned looks came from the group.

"He should be at Granny's with Howard Stark. They always have lunch there together." She shrugged.

"You have helped more than you know. Now, what can I do to get you out of here?" Bucky asked his sister.

"I just wanted to see you one more time, James. And to tell you that how Ma and I went was not your fault."

"Thanks, Bella. Say hi to Becca for me."  

"I will. I love you."

"I love you, too." They hugged. She hugged Steve.

"Goodbye, Steve. You were like another brother to me."  

"You were my sister."

Bella walked off with her husband and children.

"So, Granny's is where Howard, Dr. Erskine, and the rest of the Barnes's are. Let's head there."

They walked to Granny's which was actually run by the Blind Witch, since Granny was still alive. They walked in. Bucky saw his family in one of the booths and went over to them.

"You're here. You aren't dead, are you?" His mom asked as she hugged him.

"I'm not dead. I saw Bella and she thought I had died, too."

She let go of him and looked him over. "My little baby," She hugged him again before adding, "All grown up."   

"Ma." Bucky chuckled.

"Well, I'm sorry. The last time I saw you, it was when you were a senior in high school. A lot's happened to you since then. Starting with," She gestured to his metal arm.

"Yeah, was forced against my will to work for the bad guys for a while. I'm okay, now, though."   

"I heard about all of that. Are you really okay? You know you can't lie to me."

"I'm really okay, Ma. And there's two people I'd like you to meet,"  

Grace and Karina stepped forward and introduced themselves.

"You got married? Never thought anyone would be able to tie you down." Betty said as she stood up from the booth. "Mr. Party Animal." She hugged him. She saw Steve. "See? I bet Becca that he'd end up being really handsome. But dang, seriously."

"Hello, Betty." Steve smiled slightly.

She came over and hugged him. "The first thing you got to know about us Barnes's, is that we're huggers. The second thing slipped out of my mind because tiny, scrawny, little, Steve Rogers is now all muscle. Whoever's in a relationship with you, I'm so sorry about this but dang."  

"That would be me, but I would've done the exact same thing." Peggy chuckled.

"You did do the exact same thing, when I came out of the chamber after the injection." Steve looked at her.

"Right, I forgot about that." She replied. She didn't, she was just saying that.

"Wait, are you Peggy Carter?" Betty asked.

"At your service,"

"Dang. Little brother, are aware that you hang with the ultimate power couple?"

Bucky had his hands on his waist and he looked down at his feet. "Huh, yeah. It's come up in conversation a few times, big sister."

She laughed before turning her attention to him. "Nice arm,"

"Thanks,"

She went over to him. "Are you okay? Because we heard about everything that happened to you from the people came down here, and Momma and I were really close to busting some skulls."

"I'm okay. Now I am, at least." He nodded.

"Good." She nodded back.
