The waiter came for their orders. Lucas got a blueberry smoothie and Maya got a strawberry smoothie just as they always did. Lucas sat next to Maya "I wanted to talk to you about...us" he said Maya raised her eyebrows "what.. You don't wanna be my friend anymore?" She asked. Lucas frowned "what? No, no, no, no" he said. "Okay..." Maya turned to face towards him "then what?" The waiter came back with their smoothies and Maya sipped at hers as he talked. "While, I thought that... That I knew what I wanted... But then.. Just spending so much time with you... And seeing you with Zay" Maya frowned I hope this isn't going where I think it's going. She thought. Maya nodded for him to continue. "Well.. It's just that.." And then without warningly Lucas leaned down and kissed her. She kissed back, it was nice. Then she pulled away and looked at him questioningly "Lucas-" she began and was interrupted "look Maya I like you. A lot, and I think it should be me and you going on dates. What do you think?" Maya gave him a sweet smile and poured the entire contents Of her smoothie on his head. He smiled and laughed. So did she. The she smiled and walked out of topanga's.
