The Trojan Camp

Chapter Sixteen

Hudson's P.O.V.

      Chase and myself were on our way to go to eat food, it's what we do. We go to the dining hall and see only the goddess of the hunt and avid hater of men Artemis.

      "Hello there", she says not looking up from the apple that she munched on.

      "Hello Artemis", Chase says almost stuttering.

      "You know those two girls you two are friends with, I invited them to join me, but they refused, I believe the reason is you both", she states to us as we look at her with bewilderment.

      "What do you mean?", I ask her bravely, quite scared of her.

      "You do not realize", she says looking up from the apple she ate. 

      Both Chase and myself took food for the table it was desplayed on, Chase took a banana while I took a donut. What I like donuts.

      "They both care about you two", Artemis says, "More than you realize", then she leaves. 

      The girls come in to the dining hall just as Artemis leaves. They sit across from us. Serafina pulls Chase away for a moment, leaving me and Briar alone for the moment. Even though she forgave me doesn't mean we are besties all of a sudden. So we sit in silence for what felt like FOREVER!

Sera's P.O.V.

      I took Chase away from the others because I wanted to tell him something.

Briar's P.O.V.

      The silence I was feeling at the moment was the worst type of silence, ackward silence. There were no words said, I doudt any thoughts were that head of his as well. I suddenly heard a scream from the stables. The both of us rushed over to the stables to see what happened. When we got to there a girl lay on the ground luckily someone checked she was not dead. The camp leaders came over and identified her as a hunter. She was taken away to the imfirmary. Apparently she fell off a horse that a camper was letting her ride the horse. 

      "Will she be okay?" Sera asks Artemis looking at the hunter on the bed.

      "Yes she should make a full recovery", the goddess says to her.
