"Hey 'Lena, do you think this dress looks good on me?" Bonnie asked, turning around. She was wearing a cute pink frilly dress with a bow on her head and she looked adorable.
"Yes, you look amazing." I smiled.
I was so happy. I was getting married to the love of my life, what else could be better? Right? Stefan is the 'it' for me. Everyone says that we're still young, but that doesn't matter. We love each other, and nothing can ruin our wedding. Nothing.
"Hey, don't you feel like Bella from twilight right now?" Bonnie asks giggling.
"What? Why" I ask.
"I mean like, you're 20 years old. Don't you think it's kinda early?"
"Well, we are in love. I guess that we're so 'meant to be' that god has fated us to be together." I sigh.
"You know Elena, I honestly don't believe in those things, but my grandma tells me that I'm a witch." Bonnie says nervously.
"You're a what?" I turn towards her.
"Yeah, and like um.. She also gave me her cards." She says quietly, as if it's a secret.
"Woah um, that's cool I guess. Do you have them now?" I ask.
"Yup." She replies.
"Well, then take them out, I wanna see if you can tell me something about Stefan." I smile.
"Okay." She nods her head and runs towards the table, searching for the cards in her purse. She then sets them on the table in order and I walk towards her.
"Okay um, so pick a card." Bonnie says. I look at all of them before picking the one I want. Bonnie takes the card in her hand and then shows it me.
"Meeting." She says, suspiciously.
"Pardon?" I reply.
"Meeting, you will meet someone very soon." She answers, eyes narrowed.
"Okay, but why are you so tensed? Isn't meeting people a good thing?" I ask.
"Yeah, it usually is but.." She trails off.
"But what?" I ask curiously.
"The card says it's an unexpected meeting. Which means you're actually not supposed to meet this person, but you will." She tries to explain.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask. This is seriously freaking me out right now.
"Whatever, just pick another card." She tells, waving her hand towards the table. I nod hesitantly, and reach my hand out to pick another card.
"Sin."
"What?"
"Sin. You will commit a sin very soon. It will be related to the person you meet." She looks at me warily.
I start laughing. "So you're trying to tell me that I'm gonna meet a bad ass girl today and then we're gonna team up and kidnap people?"
"Well, there is a chance that the cards or predictions are wrong." Bonnie says unsurely.
"Well then, we have nothing to worry about. Come on, let's go, Stefan will be here any time soon." I smile.
"Hey Stefan!" I shout as I run towards him. He turns to look at me and I hug him.
"Hey 'soon to be wife'." He replies, smiling.
"Elena, listen I forgot to tell you, my brother's coming for the wedding. I invited him, is that okay?" He asks, biting his lip gently.
"Um, the one who lives in Italy?" I ask, remembering our previous conversations.
"Yeah, him. I just wanted to ask if that's okay with you, 'cause you haven't really met him yet." He says.
"Oh, sure of course. Its absolutely fine. He's your brother after all, you have all the rights to invite him." I smile.
"Great then, can't wait for us to get married babe." He kisses me on the cheek gently.
"Me too." I giggle.
"Elena, sweetheart can you please come here?" My mom asks.
"Yes mommy." I walk towards her.
"Elena before its too late, I want to ask you for the last time. Are you sure you want to do this.?"
"Yes mom. You know that Stefan is a nice guy, he won't hurt me. " I say.
"I know, but you can." She replies.
"What?"
"Look Elena, you're still so young, you should live you youth, travel the world." She starts saying.
"I will mom, with Stefan."
"But what if he's not the one?" She asks worriedly.
"He is mom. I know it." I smile.
"Okay then, if you're sure. The thing is, I don't want you to regret anything later, if you find another guy." Miranda takes my hand, brushing her thumb gently over it.
"There will be no other guy mom, just me and Stefan, and soon many junior Stefans.." I laugh.
I was sure of it, Stefan and I were meant to be, and nothing in this world would change that. At least, that's what I thought.
