We were walking down the street, and I was walking between Johnny and Ponyboy.
"Better watch out for them Socs." Sodapop said.
"Whats a Soc?" I asked, confused.
"Well y/n, Their our enimies. we are greasers. We fight the Socs. We want to kill each other."
"So im a..Greaser?"
"Yep." Soda told me, then smiled
I certainly dressed the part, because my parent were alchoholic, they didnt have any money to buy me clothes, (not like they would or anything) my clothes were pretty old. Today i wore a black shirt, with jeans that had rips in the knee, and my hightop, old, ragged, converse.
"So Johnny, how old are you? I turned 15 last month." I asked, trying to end the silence.
"Oh me..I-Im 16." He told me.
I smiled and said "cool".
"Um y/n, its 'tuff'. that means cool here" Two-Bit told me, laughing.
Soon the whole gang, including me were laughing.
"Yeah, your just another kid, a kid sister. Just like Johnny and Pone." Dally told me, grinning.
"Excuse me? Im 15." I corrected Dally
"Feisty one, huh Darry?" Steve asked Darry, and he just laughed.
I rolled my eyes and laughed along with it.
Once we got to Sodas house, I was the last one in, and there was a seat beside Johnny on the couch.
'Man, hes even cuter up close. I want to just hug him.' I thought to myself, and before i could noticed my eyes were focused on Johnny.
And apparently someone noticed.
"Oooh, y/n likes johnny, y/n likes Johnny!" Ponyboy sang.
My face turned red, and I yelled, "Pony! Shut up before I slap you dead across the face!"' and everyone went silent.
"Daaamn" Dally said.
"Your next Dally" I squinted and said.
Dally threw is hands up.
"Well, I think ill get going. see yall." Steve said, while walking out the door.
"Yeah, see yall. Bye love birds!!" Two-Bit said, obviously to me. Dally followed two-bit out.
'Johnnys the only other guy besides the curtis' left. Great.' I thought to myself.
"I guess ill go too. Bye guys. Bye y/n. Im gonna sleep at the lot tonight" Johnny said.
"Bye Johnnycakes" the guys said
"See ya, Johnny!" i said back.
'how do they know about my crush on Johnny?? Stupid, stupid me!' i thought.
whenever i snapped out of my thoughts, Sodapop sat down my me on the couch, crossed his leg, and put his arm around me.
"so y/n..tell me, do you love johnnycakes? hmmm?" he asked teasingly, while Ponyboy sung the stupid little song again, and of course, i turned red again.
I threw sodapops arm off of me, and held my first up. "Listen, if you punks dont stop with this 'i love johnny' buisness, i will personally knock ya'lls heads into next year. Do you all got that?!"
Sodapop and Ponyboy stood, wide eyed. "Dang, this girl means buisness. Well, lets head to bed guys. y/n you can share the bed with pone, ill share with Darry."
"Fair enough." I said, and slipped on a pair of stretchy pants i brought with me.
Once we were in the bed, Ponyboy tapped on my shoulder and said "y/n"
"yes?"
"please tell me if you like Johnny, i promise i wont tell"
"Pony..."
"Please? I'll pinky promise."
"Fine." so we pinky promised.
"Now, spill it, do you like him or not."
"well, I actually do."
"Oooh! thats cute! Johnnys got a girlfriend!"
"Pony, rember what i said about smacking you into next year? If you tell anyone, ill knock your head into NEXT CENTURY!"
"Alright, alright. Why do you like him anyway?"
"I dunno, hes just so cute and sensitive, like a little puppy.."
"Awh, well im sure you all will make a good couple. your a beautiful girl you know."
"Thanks Pone. Well, goodnight."
"Goodnight, and sweet dreams about good ol' Johnnycakes!"
"Pony, remeber what I said."
"Okay, okay. Goodnight."
"Goodnight" I said, and rolled over, and went to sleep quick, thinking about johnny.
'What if Pony tells Johnny? Man, I will kill him..' I thought, and dozed off to sleep.
