Pony and I got up and put on some warm clothes.
"Pony?" I said
"Yeah"
"Would it be..wierd..if I..dated..Johnny?"
"y/n, i think you should go for it if you love Johnny that much.Your a beautiful girl."
"Thanks Pone, well we should get going"
-A FEW MINUETES LATER-
Pony and I walked over to Johnnys window, to see him in his room crying, with blood and forming bruises.
"Johnny" Ponyboy said while tapping the window. Johnny came closer. "Johnny, were gonna help you get away from here, come on."
Johnny climbed out the window and said "T-thanks guys" and hugged Pony and I
I hugged back, and felt sparks fly through my body, then i felt something wet on Johnny. It was blood.
"Oh Johnny, what have they done to you? Are you alright?" I asked, nearly about to cry.
"My parents. Th-They beat me and yell at me.They dont care about me. They would care if I got hit by a train."
I wrapped my arms around Johnny, and said "At my old house, my parents beat me and yelled at me, and my father was a alchoholic, thats why i dont have the nicest things, but im happy here."
"I had no idea. You hid it so well and seemed so stable." Johnny told me, looking at the ground.
By now, we were to thw railroad tracks.
"Johnny, y/n, were running away." Pony told us.
Johnny and I nodded a 'OK' and we continued to walk, and talk about our home lives. I felt so bad for Johnny. Poor little guy. Never felt any love.
I had my money in my pocket, so we had went to a store to buy some food and some entertainment. We had bought some bread and turkey to make sandwiches, a deck of cards, and 'Gone With the Wind' which was suggested by Ponyboy, because it was his favorte. By then, i only had about 2 or 3 dollars, so we decided to pay.
Once we got to the old church, where Ponyboy took us, we ate a sandwich and layed down to go to sleep. I was between Johnny and Ponyboy.
When morning came, we sat around and talked, and went out to the well to get something to drink.
When we came back in, Ponyboy read aloud from his book, and Johnny and I played a game of cards.
'Oh great, Ponyboy is reading a romance scene' I thought.
I just sit there, continuing my card game, looking at the ground, and occasionally over to the broken mirror, to see how red my face was. I was listening to my bestfriend read a romance scene, while playing cards with the boy I like.
"You know, this is getting boring. Lets just talk." I asked, and Ponyboy and Johnny nodded.
It was an awkward silence for a few seconds, until I decided to break it.
"So, have you all ever..been in..love?" I asked.
"No, but Soda has. Have you Johnny?" Ponyboy asked
Johnny just shrugged.
"And you, y/n?" Pony asked, desprate for me to say yes, and that I like Johnny.
"Yeah, I have. Have you all ever kissed anyone?"
"Not anyone besides my family. Never a actual girl." Ponyboy said.
Johnny just looked at the ground.
I slid over to Johnny, and kissed him on the cheek, and soon, he was kissing my lips, with his arms around my waist and my hands around his neck, we went on and kissed for atleast 5 mimuetes, probobly longer than that. I felt tons of butterflies in my tummy, and when we stopped, we just smiled at eachother and hugged. Johnnys smile was so cute.
Then I realized, Ponyboy was there. "Oh Pony, im sorry i did that in front of you." I told him.
"No, its okay. Im happy for you all. Can i tell Johnny now?" Ponyboy asked.
"No, I think I will." I said, smiling really big. "Johnny, I love you, and I have thought you were so cute since the first day I saw you."
Johnny grinned and hugged me. "I love you too. Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Of course." I said and kissed Johnny again.
Ponyboy just sat there, smiling and being happy for his bestfriend, who never felt any love.
'Ive found my One and Only. And its Johnny Cade.' I thought to myself, while I held onto Johnnys neck and layed my head on his chest.
