Rena locked the door behind her. Harry glaring at her, waiting for her to explain what was going on for he was clueless. Rena looks behind Harrys shoulder. Sylvia, the once wintery blue eyed angel, now eyes covered in the shade of the liquid red.

Rena was leaning up against the wooden panel before she removed herself and walked over towards Sylvia.

Rena placed her cold hands on the scared lady infront of her. Rena quietly examining her eyes.

Images flooded of Sylvia's past into Rena's head. Sylvia in a pink small dress running around the house when she was little. Sylvia's tenth birthday. Parties of the rich she always went to.

Her father... saying what a disgrace she was. How her father treated her.

Rena snapped her hands away from sylvia and looked at Harry. Rena didn't mean to see into Sylvia's past. It was a gift of Rena's or what Rena would say as a curse. When every Rena made contact with anyone, she would see into their past. She hated the fact that she could see anything and everything inside someones head.

Seeing someones past... how they lived, what they experienced, was reflected on Rena. Sadness, happiness, Hatred, Love.

"Lord Harry, can i speak to you alone?" Rena questions walking into the corridor. Harry  nodded and quickly followed on her heels.

Harry grabbed her arm and turned her around. "Please tell me whats wrong with Sylvia." Harry begged.

"Today is her 18th birthday. When the ánkyra yperfysikós  in greek which means anchor of the supernatural, turns 18, its her duty to protect the balance between each species. The trait of wintery blue eyes has been passed down every 100 generations. A trait at which you know as well that Sylvia has. It is the trait to identify the anchor. The day when they turn 18 danger lurks around the cornor and every day forward. When the 'anchor' is killed the balance of the species is broken and the supernatural goes into a war." Rena explained quiet enough for only Harry to hear. Harry is hooked on the word kill, leaving him on edge.

"Wait... how can she be killed?" Harry asked. Worry wrapped in his voice.

"Every thousand years, a special comet named Hema, passes through. Like sylvia's eyes, the comet is blood red. This is her curse. This is the only way she can be killed is during the comet." Rena continued. Harry's eyes widen in shock.

"So your telling me she can die after almost a thousand year but thats only if she is killed." Harry questioned. Clearly trying to understand the situation.

Rena nodded her head. "She is immortal like you and the other supernatural beings that walk this earth."

"Its like you said Harry... Shes special. And now you have to promise to protect her. I will die for her if i ever needed. Shes something rare and a necessity for our life. You have to protect her with all your strength and power for she is not strong enough, yet. She is just the beginning of something important." Rena said.

"I don't want her to find out about herself yet. Shes too weak and young. Its a burden for someone so yound." Harry said. He shook his head slightly. He took on a bigger responsibility than he ever planned. But he was planning on protecting her, for she was his future wife.

Hopefully forever and ever, like their vows that they will eventually say.

Harry walked back over to Sylvia. Her head in her hands, quietly sobbing to herself. "Whats wrong with me harry." She sobbed into her hands. Her eyes red. Red tears streamed down her face. The curse was now contracted to Sylvia. Her fate set as the anchor.

"Its just a cold. Don't worry it will be gone by tomorrow." Harry lied right through his teeth. But it was for her sake.  Sylvia just went with it. She just had to believe something real. He walked over to her and sat right down next to her.

She lended into his shoulder, hiding her face from the world. "My eyes hurt. Its too bright around here." She whispered.

Her eyes sore from crying and the change happening. "Lets get you to bed. Its been a rough day." Harry whispered into her hair. He picked her up bridal style and carried her up the spiral stairs. She laid her head in the crook of his neck with her arms hanging on tightly.

He took long strides up the stairs and into her bedroom. He laid her into the soft bed and pulled the covers up to her chin. Her cheeks red from the bloody tears that streamed down her face.

Harry grabbed a cloth and wiped the blood away from her flawless face.

"Harry, can you shut the blinds? The sun is really bothering me." She said. Harry smiled at her lovingly and shut the blinds around her enormous room.

He walked back over to her side gentally rubbing her cheek. She closes her eyes letting her eyes rest and heal.

Harry stands to walk out before he is stopped by Sylvia grabbing his arm.

"Please don't go." She murmered. "Stay."

Harry nodded. Sylvia scooted over in her queen sized bed allowing enough room for harry to lay down besides her. She smiled slightly at the warmth right next to her.

She moved deeper into the covers. Harry wrapped his arm around her protectivly ensuring nothing will disturp her in anyway.

Sylvia laid her head down on his chest. Her head bobbing up and down every time he would breath. The sweet rythem of his heart slowly putting her to sleep like a lullaby.

Harry stares up at the ceiling while his beautiful fiance falls asleep.

He was right. There was something special about her. He didn't expect it to be something so important and big, but that didn't change his mind about caring for her. She was his and he will protect her with everything he has. Even if it cost him his life.

He was starting to care for her in a way that only two people can feel for each other. Soul mates? He would think.

Hes been alive for so many centuries that he has had so many lovers, but he never felt this way to someone else before. The tingling feeling in his gut he got whenever his skin met her porcelin skin.

There was a knock at the door. "Who is it?" Harry called out quiet enough to not wake Sylvia.

Rena steps into view.

"Lord Harry, A Mister James has come to see you. He says its urgent." Rena stated, her eyes filled with worry and fear. Her eyes darting from Harry then the sleeping Sylvia.
