*at the end of the summer it's the day before school starts so Maya and Adam are going to see Adam's new principal before school starts*
Lucas: let me come with you, I know the principal
Maya: we can't keep just dropping hope and Noah off with Riley and Farkle
Lucas: hopes at preschool and we can just take oh with us
Maya: fine, come on
Lucas: okay
Maya: Adam come on! Time to go!
*Adam walks in playing on his phone*
Maya: let's go
*they walk down to the school and upon arriving Lucas leads them to the principals office, seeing a few other families around makes Maya feel a little more reassured, until she gets a few dirty looks from people who clearly thinks she's a huge slut, most likely under the impression that somehow Adam is her son rather than brother*
Principal: Adam Smith
*maya nods and they all walk in to the principals office*
Principal: hello, I'm principal Jamerson, I just wanted you guys to come in so I could start the connection between the school and Adams home life, so you're his parents?
Maya: oh no, no I'm his sister and this is my husband, he's living with us currently
Principal: alright and might I enquirer as to why and if this is the permanent arrangements
Maya: I'm only his half sister, we have the same Dad, his parents are in the midst of a messy divorce and it's not a good environment for someone of his age so he's come out here to live with us in a nicer and quieter environment
Principal: and this is a permanent thing?
Maya: uhh there's been an arrangement
Principal: which would be?
Maya: how does this have anything to do with his school life?
Principal: we're just trying to understand if he'll need any support due to his circumstances
Maya: he's mentally fine, I'm 20 and Lucas as you may recall from his time here being so long ago is now 21 we're fully capable, we are completely able to help him with any help he may need on things like homework and if we are stuck our best friend lives across the road and is happy to help, he's a genius
Principal: I apologise if it sounded like I was questioning your decisions, we ask everyone these sorts of questions in your position without taking your age into account
*after asking Adam a few question the principal thanks them for coming, Lucas shakes his hand and then they leave*
Adam: I don't like him
Maya: me neither, Lucas I thought you said he was a cool guy
Lucas: he used to be
Maya: well he's not now, he was acting like I was an incompetent idiot
Lucas: no he wasn't
Adam: he was
Lucas: how about we grab hope and go spend the afternoon playing around in the field, we can have a picnic and everything
Maya: Adam does that sound cool?
Adam: can we play some football?
Maya: you boys can do whatever you like
Lucas: we can test out the new climbing frame I built
Maya: let's do it then

Okay so that was completely boring and I've run out of ideas TBH so I think im gonna end this story in a couple of chapters unless you guys really don't want me too because not many people are even reading it anymore xoxo
