A Girls Best Friend (A Luke Brooks Fanfic)

Chapter 4

"Dude come on!" I yell through the bathroom door while Luke gets ready. "You take longer then a fucking girl!"

I'm passing through his room as I hear a honk from the bus. "Luke the bus is here! We need to go now! Now wipe your ass and let's go!"

I was getting extremely angry at this kid. "Okay hold on I'm almost ready!" He shouts from inside the bathroom door. I grunt in frustration. I hear and large vehicle start to move. That better not be the bus. I go to the window and as I look outside I see the bus moving past the house.

"Luke we missed the stupid bus and we have 5 minutes until school starts! I'm going to count down from 5 and I swear to God if your are not out of that washroom I am coming in!" I was so livid now. I have never been late to school before.
"5...." I pause feeling my face getting hot. "4.....3...." I take deep breaths to calm myself down. "2....." one more. "And.......1!"

Just as I was about to barge in to the washroom, Luke comes running out. "I'm ready," he smiles and then slowly backs away from me because he can see that I am not to happy with him.

"I hope your ready to run," I say quietly trying to calm myself down. Luke looks confused and before he could process what was about to happy, I grab his arm and start sprinting through his house.

"Woah!" Luke shouts already out of breath. We haven't even made it out of the house yet and he's already bitching.

We sprint out of the house. As I'm running I notice that Jai and Luke's car isn't in the driveway. Jai probably took it to school. That little fucker. I continue running gown the street with Luke gasping for air behind me. As I get to the end of the street we see that there has been a car accident. I slow down toward it and try to snoop. I already came to the conclusion that we would be late so there's no point in running.

I see a police officer at the front where the cation tape is. I approach him to find out what happened, Luke trailing behind me. "Hello Officer!" I say in a welcoming tone. "Would you be able to tell me what happened here," I ask curiously.

"Ah see love," he says with a smile. "A teen boy and some of his friends were driving along and they were carelessly driving and got into an accident." I peek behind the police officers shoulder to look at the scene. One of the car looks exactly like Jai's car. Wait! Jai didn't come home last night and his car wasn't in the drive way.

"Officer, would you be able to describe the boy who was driving the car please?" I ask feeling a little nervous.

"Ah yes. He was an averaged height lad with short hair that would flip up at the top and.." He pauses to think for a minute. "Oh and he had an eyebrow ring in." Me and Luke look at each other. "He had very similar features to you mate," the police officer looks over to Luke and at that moment we new exactly who he was talking about.

"Officer," i saying trying to be as calm as possible. "Where would this boy happen to be right now?" I ask, my voice shaking.

"Uh, I don't know if I can disclose that kind of information. And before I know it Luke is grabbing the officer by his jacket.

"Officer!" He screams. "Please that's my twin brother!" Luke has tears in his eyes and so do I. "Please Officer!" Luke sobs into the police mans jacket.

"Okay boy come on get up," the officer says in a kind voice. "I'll tell you where he is but don't tell anyone I told you. Promise?" We both nod our heads. "The ambulance took him to Sunny loo hospital last night. It's on Javed road."

"Thank you so much!" Me and Luke begin to run. There is no way we can walk there. It's about a 15 minute drive.  Taxi's are always driving by so we whistle at the next taxi and he stops for us.
