::Part 8::

*Luke begins to pull away from the curb in front of your house. He constantly keeps glancing your direction. You have an uncomfortable look on your face. Finally, he breaks the silence.*

"Jenna, I'm sorry. If you want to go back home, I can -"

"Lets just get some Chinese take-out, and go back so that we can talk, okay?"

"That sounds good to me."

*You point your finger to the right or left whenever Luke needs to turn. He pulls into the Chinese restaurant's parking lot and turns to you after turning the car off.*

"What do you want, I'll go in."

"Uhm.. Just get me General Tso's chicken. Maybe a few crab Rangoon."

"Okay, baby, I'll be right back."

*You close your eyes and your muscles tighten whenever he calls you that. He rubs your arm briefly before unbuckling and getting out of the car. You take out your phone and angrily dial a number.*

"Hello?"

"Is this some kind of sick joke?!"

"Jenna, what's wrong?"

"Oh, don't pretend like you don't know! You sent him out here!"

"Sent who?! Jenna, you're not making any sense!"

"Why is Luke here?!"

"Luke is there?!"

"You seriously didn't know?"

"No! Harry and I have been trying to get ahold of him all day!"

"I'm sorry, I just thought.."

"It's okay. Just tell him to call Harry, okay?"

"Yeah. Talk to you later."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye."

*You toss your phone into your bag. Luke comes back out about three minutes later with a large sack of food. He opens the rear driver's side door and sets the sack in the floor. He gets into the front and starts the car.*

"Do you need to go anywhere?"

"No."

"Okay."

*Luke puts the car into reverse then exits the parking lot. He indirectly offers you his hand, but you keep yours held tightly together in your lap, staring blankly ahead as Luke pulls into your subdivision. Once he pulls in your driveway, you quickly unbuckle and grab your bag. You put your hand on the handle and go to open it.*

"If I knew that you hated me, I wouldn't have came."

*You stop.*

"Hated you? No, I don't hate you. I kinda hate the fact that you came out here, it wasn't part of the plan."

"From the way Sierra made it sound, you two had similar ways of working in a relationship. But, from what I've heard, Sierra and Harry's relationship didn't start off like this."

"See, that's where you're wrong. Did she not tell you about all the times she would drive up here or call me crying because pictures were released of Harry in a bar somewhere, drunk off his ass, snogging some random chick?! Or about the times when he would call her and tell her he didn't want anything more to do with her because he was drunk and then never had any recollection of it in the morning?! Them missing each other wasn't the only reason she went out there. She doesn't want to lose him. You see how he treats her now? That's because I recorded her at my house when one of these episodes happened. He finally saw how much it was hurting her, she had never told him it was that devestating to her. Their relationship has been a struggle for her, but she is strong and was more than willing to make it work."

"But what does that have to do with this? With us?"

"The only way this is going to work is if you respect any decision I make no matter how crazy or stupid it is."

"I would do anything for you, so of course I will."

"Fine, then we'll try this, but not until we land in London."
