"So, uhm.. What time are you leaving on Tuesday?"
"I think she said nine, but I have to leave home at seven.."
"When will you be back?"
"I'm not sure yet. Probably before Friday because that's my birthday, and I want to spend it with family."
"So that is..?"
"Chandler, I said I didn't know yet. I'm already a little stressed about being on an airplane, alone, I don't need you stressing me out more."
"Well, I was just asking, you don't have to be a bitch, okay."
"Sorry."
*You turn your head and look out the window for the rest of the ride to the mall, sitting in quiet. When you get there you head into Macy's and head towards the luggage area. You see a cute, lime green colored suitcase that looks like the perfect size. As you get nearer to it, you see that it's price has been marked down to $64.81, a perfect amount. You wrestle it off the shelf, Chandler behind you, watching, and wheel it towards the checkout. After paying you silently walk back to Chandler's car. The car ride home was equally as quiet. After pulling into your driveway, Chandler looks over at you.*
"So I guess I'll see you in a week or so. Keep in touch. Have fun."
"Yeah. See you. I'll call often. Thanks again for the ride."
"No problem."
*You get out of her car and unload your purchase before wheeling in through your front door. Now all you have to do is pack, make your flight, and then you'll be with your best friend, her boyfriend, and the boy of your dreams. If only time could speed up.*
