"Won't you please just let me explain."
"There's nothing for you to explain. You were an idiot, we know. Now, leave!"
*Luke stands up and starts towards you.*
"Jenna, is everything okay? Who's out there?"
"No, no. Please.. Uhm, go downstairs. I'll be down in a minute."
"No, I think I need to stay up here."
*You shake your head but allow Luke to stay. He walks to you and helps you off the ground and pulls you to him.*
"I won't let anyone hurt you. I'm here now. Who's at the door?"
*You motion to it. Luke lets go of you and opens the door.*
"Jenna - you're not Jenna. Who are you? What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing."
"Luke, this is Tommy. He's my EX boyfriend."
"About that, Jenna I don't know what I was thinking. I miss you so much everyday. Nobody can amount to you."
"Tommy, right? Listen, it sounds like everything you're saying, Jenna has already heard. I believe you need to leave."
"Yeah? And who's going to make me, pretty boy?"
"Listen, you don't want to do this."
"Try me."
*Luke steps outside and crosses the porch to where Tommy is standing. He gets in Tommy's face.*
"Leave. Now."
"This isn't over. You hear me, Jenna? I'll have you again."
*Tommy storms away and gets into his truck before speeding down the street.*
"Luke."
*You run to Luke and wrap your arms around him.*
"I can't thank you enough. This has been going on for a month or so, him calling me and telling me exactly what you heard, I never thought he would ever come out here though. This was crazy."
"I told you, I'm here now. No one will ever hurt you again."
"Thank you. I believe you now."
*Luke tightens his hold on you and pulls you closer. You inhale and get a large whiff of him. He smells so comforting, so warm and good. His arms feel like a barrier, protecting you from everything.*
"Don't let me go, okay? Ever."
