I opened my eyes slowly to find myself lying in some kind of cell. How did I get here? Where am I? I looked around to find two other people in the cell.
“What you staring at,” one of them said to me.
“Nothing,” I said as I put my attention to the floor. The last thing I remember is kissing Crystal and then Paul shouting. What happened after that? I saw a flash but other than that it’s a complete blank to me.
I couldn’t help but notice how advanced the cell looks. The bars have a security lock which you probably can open with a finger print or card. I couldn’t be sure. I also noticed how my clothes looked different to the two people sharing the cell with me.
“What are you doing in here?” asked the same man who had asked me why I had been staring at him.
“I don’t know. I don’t remember hardly anything,” I said to him.
“You’re just a kid. Did you steal something? You do look poor,” he said.
“I’ve never stole in my life,” I said to him.
“Don’t lie, we’re in here too for a reason. If you didn’t steal anything did you kill someone?” he asked me blankly. I looked at him in shock. How can someone talk about death so lightly? I couldn’t understand this at all.
“No I would never kill anyone,” I said to him angrily.
“Calm down boy. What did you do then?” he asked.
“I didn’t do anything from my memory,” I said to him.
“Maybe they hit him to the head to hard,” said the other person who is female.
“Maybe your right,” he said.
I looked away from both of them not knowing what to do. I got to my feet and went over to the door. “What are you doing?” asked the woman.
“I’m looking,” I said.
“Pointless doing that,” said the woman.
“Why?” I asked her.
“You need a finger print,” said the woman.
I looked over at her and sighed. I had been right. I sat back down disappointed. I had hoped I had been wrong. Looking at this cell I got an idea where I am. Does this prove that everything my father told me is true? Is time travel true? I have no idea.
Where are Crystal and Paul? I had hoped I could be with her but that doesn’t seem to be working out. What am I going to do? I’m scared and worried about being in this cell and I have no idea how long I’ll be stuck in here either.
I sighed which made the woman and man look over at me weirdly. I ignored them and as I thought about trying to get comfortable I heard a door clicking open and a moment later someone walking down towards the cell. He stopped outside the cell and put his finger to the door. It clicked open.
“You come with me,” he pointed at me.
“Who me?” I said.
“Yeah you,” he said with a blank expression. I got up and walked towards him. When I reached him he closed the cell door with it locking itself as it clicked shut. He looked at me weirdly before he pulled out some handcuffs but they looked different to the ones I’ve seen before he unlocked them with his finger print before he put them around both my wrists and shut them tight.
He led me towards another door which he opened with his finger print. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Could this really be the future? I guess I’m about to find out.
