We order our burgers and pick a table to sit at. I'm still confused to why Kyle is being so eager for me to hang around with him, it doesn't make sense. I was going to ask him , I feel like it would start and argument again and right now I didn't want that. I sit facing him.

"So are you going to tell me the real reason to why you get us to take you to school every morning?" Hoping that he will tell me the real reason.

He takes a while to answer.

"Because .. I left the band" he eats a chip and doesn't look at me.

"What?, why did you leave?"I was so surprised by this

"The fame was doing my head in , I couldn't have a private life anymore and my band mates have turned into druggies " He pauses " I asked my manager for a break at least until I finished this year , but he flipped saying what am I thinking and all that crap so I just left, if he wasn't going to be reasonable with me then why the hell should I do what he tells me to, he has no respect all he cares about is the money" his voice sounded angry.

"Why didn't you get a new manager then?" I asked

"Because still it wasn't the manager that was my problem it was just having no pirvacy, I mean you see how all the girls react around me at school it gets tiring" he's lean back and runs his fingers through his lovely dark brown hair.

"I thought you loved all the attention from girls?" I smirk

"Not those kind of girls" what kind of girls then I wondered?

"Yet you like hanging around with me?" I wanted to see his response

"I hang around with you because you don't care about my fame, unlike them" he bites into his burger

"But I thoug--"

"Are you Kyle the lead singer of the tattoos?!" A really shy girl says holding a note pad and pen hinting for Kyle to sign it.

"No I'm--" I interrupt him

"Yes he is , he loves signing autographs don't you" I say hinting him to sign it. I wasn't going to let him upset his fan. He clenches his jaw and signs the girls note pad she then runs away screaming quietly.

"Since when do you answer for me?" He says getting up

"I wasn't going to let you upset your fan Kyle, she looked sweet" I say following him.

"Just get in the car" he says sounding annoyed

I look at my watch to notice it's 1:30!

"Oh shit" I say (have in mind I never swear so it must be a pretty bad situation for me to swear)

"What" Kyle looks little concerned

"It's 1:30 , what the hell are my parents going to say!" I'm so stupid and annoyed at myself this is so irresponsible of me!

"Chill okay just sneak in they won't know" he starts the engine

"CHILL , are you serious don't you realise how much trouble I'll be in , and my parents won't have gone bed knowing I'm out at a party, I should have been back ages ago, I understand that you can do whatever you want but it's not fair that your telling me to chill, I'm such an idiot I should never have got in this car , why didn't I just stick with James" I say panicking

"Because you couldn't resist me" he says consontrsting on the road. Could this guy get anymore modest??

"Just take me home" I couldn't be bothered to argue.

The car slows down and his face looks like he's thinking about something.

"Sorry" I hear him say , his voice is soft but he says it clearly , not as if he's ashamed of apologising to me.

"I understand you don't want to get into trouble and I haven't respected you at all tonight, it's my fault and I'll take the blame" it sounds so true and meaningful

Has he just apologised to me? I don't say anything for a bit.

"How are you going to take the blame? You can't say I took your daughter out for a quick drive down the m1 "I don't get this guy

"Just follow my lead" he parks the car a bit further down the lane so he wouldn't be spotted driving a car  by my parents. We walk up my drive and he knocks on the door. I feel sick with nerves and shame.

"Where the hell have you been missy , we've been worried sick!" My parents both look worried and annoyed

"I kn--"

" Mr and Mrs Flowers it's my fault" Kyle paused and my parents both look angry at him

"I met Cara at the party and I knew this place where all these bands practised late at night, I took her there to go and see and we lost track of time" he says looking apologetic

"I don't beleive Cara would want to go and see a band late at night"My mum says

"She didn't .. I forced her to go I was really irresponsible" Kyle says still looking at my parents

What's he doing he could have just left it without saying he forced me!

"I did want to go" I say giving him a look like are you crazy

"Stop trying to cover me up babe" he says putting his arm around me

"GET OFF HER!" my mum grabs me and takes me inside

"From now on you can stay away from Cara is that clear?" I hear my dad say before shutting the door.

"As for you Cara you can go up to bed its late enough as it is" my dad says angrily

I storm upstairs and go bed.

Why did Kyle just do that?
