"Ah... What a beautiful day!" I said as I woke up. I look out the window and see the beautiful sunrise.

"Get ready world, Will is becoming a Pokemon trainer." I said.

Hello, my name is Will and I am 16, just becoming a Pokemon Trainer. Yes, I'm 16, but not already a trainer? How? Well, my mom thinks that me and my friends would benefit more by becoming trainers now instead if earlier. Pokemon can be dangerous, and before I turned 10, they found new trainers in the forest, dead. That was probably the biggest reason though.

I grab my black and blue hat (not cap), black hoodie, blue jeans, and black sneakers. Yeah, I really like those colors!

"Will, time to get your first Pokemon! Rocky and Sabrina are here!" My mother called.

Those are my two friends, Rocky and Sabrina. Sabrina was named after a gym leader in Kanto and Rocky... Well, it's supposed to be from somewhere... Maybe I have to train to know...

Sabrina has medium length, brown hair and is quite skinny. She has sparkling green eyes and slightly tan skin. She usually wears a bright colored tank-top and some skinny jeans. I also think she looks very, VERY beautiful.

Rocky is almost always in training. He has always been the strongest person I know, but doesn't look it. He's actually medium sized, not wimpy, but not buff. He usually wears a sleeveless T-Shirt and some track pants. He has Already planned that he will be the fighting type master.

As I walk downstairs, I see my two friends and my mom waiting for me.

"Look who finally woke up!" My mother said.

"Yeah... Oh yeah, is it time yet, or do we have to wait another 6 years again?" I asked my mom.

"It's time. Just follow me to the lab. I have specific Pokemon for you to choose from!" My mom said, getting her lab coat on.

Yep, my mom is Professor Arbor, the #1 professor in the Quantum region.

"As you all know, new trainers pick between three Pokemon. One is Chiibo, the fire Dino Pokemon, which has teeth that can turn into and shoot fire. The next is Lilard, the water island Pokemon, which can fool travelers, tricking them into thinking that's an island. The last, but not least, Xillo, the grass pile Pokemon, which can surround itself in leaves and even change it's appearance. But, I have something else in mind for you three." Arbor said.

"What is it, Professor?" Sabrina asked.

"I have already chosen your Pokemon based on your personalities." Arbor said.

"WHAT?!?! I was looking so forward to picking my own..." Rocky said, disappointedly.

"Just wait. The Pokemon that I'm giving you are very difficult to find. Just walk through these doors and you will see three Pokeballs near your names." Arbor guided us.

"Ok..." I said disappointedly. There was one Pokemon which I really wanted, but only saw in books.

We walked in and saw three Pokeballs, each next to one of our names.

"Don't open the Pokeballs just yet. I want you three to open them at the same time." Arbor said.

We all walked to our respectful Pokeball and we just stand there, my friends a little more anxious than me.

"Ok, grab your Pokeball and open it to see your new partner." Arbor said.

The first person to open theirs was Rocky. As he threw the Pokeball, he acted like he'd done it his whole life, but not in the cocky way. As the Pokemon went out of the Pokeball, he grabbed the Pokeball and waited to see his Pokemon.

"Machop!" The Pokemon said, stretching.

The next person to open their Pokeball was Sabrina. As her Pokeball opened, she started to jump up and down, anxious to see her Pokeball.

"Natu." The Pokemon chirped, flying around.

The last was me. Was this how it was going to be the whole time? Was I going to be in last, the worst?

I opened the Pokeball and saw my Pokemon, I was in complete shock.

"Eevee..." The Pokemon cried in a tired way.

"Mom... tha... Thank you!" I cried and hugged her.
