Avalon's P.O.V.
Shit. Shit. Shit. Today's my birthday. I'm guessing your thinking why I hate my birthday and everybody keep looking forward to theirs. Well it's all about 1 thing. I hope I don't get books this time. I freaking get books every single time! My parents always expect me to become something I don't want to be, plus there's the books. I swear they're out to get me. One day, I was just walking around the house and there was a book on the floor, of course I didn't see it so I tripped and fell face first on the floor. I broke my nose that day. A few days later, while I was sleeping, guess who or what woke me up. A book. A freaking Twilight book. I was just sleeping peacefully then all of a sudden a books hits me on the face! It's almost the same as getting hit with a freaking Nokia phone.
That was the day I finally started loathing books. At first I loved books. Like I would actually re-read Twilight every single day. I loved how Jacob could change into a werewolf. And Edward he was just so HOT, but those were the days. Now i just hate them. (A/N: I ACTUALLY LOVE BOOKS IN REAL LIFE DON'T HATE!!)
"AVALON!" my mother yelled from down stairs. "Breakfast's ready!!!"
I groaned. I guess its time to get up now. I shoved the blanket of the bed off of me. I walked to the bathroom, the cold floor against my feet. I brushed my teeth, combed my long blond hair, and changed into my favorite crop top and floral shorts. I put on my vans, then started down the stairs. When I entered the kitchen, the first thing I smelt was bacon.
"Happy 18th Birthday, sweetie!" mom said and hugged me.
"Thanks mom." I said. I still hope there's no books.
"Is Dad coming home?" I asked
My mom looked down guiltily, "I'm sorry sweetie but he's still on his business trip."
I sighed, my dad is always out in a business trip. I never get to see him anymore. It's like he disappeared from my mom and me. Even on my birthday he's not here.
"Why's he always gone!" I shrieked.
"I'm sorry sweetie, but his boss is very strict and he can't come home anytime soon."
I can't take it anymore, so I cried. My mom came to me and hugged me tight. She kept on murmuring "I'm sorry" to me. I wonder why she keeps on saying that when I talk to her about Dad. After a few minutes I calmed down and started to eat.

I sat down and took a plate. I got bacon, eggs, pancakes, and sausages. After I ate I decided to text my friend Cassandra.
Ava: hey wanna go out to the mall?
Cass: sure pick u up @10?
Ava: sure ;)
Cass: HAPPY B-DAY AVA!!
Ava: thx lol
Cass: no probz. did you get books yet? lol
Ava: no. thank god
Cass: well bye! cya c:
Ava: k bye
I put my iPhone 5 back into my pocket.
"MOM!" I yelled.
"I'm coming, sweetie!" she yelled back. I heard her footsteps coming down that stairs.
"I'm going to the mall with Cassandra." I said
"Okay, but come home before 7 okay?" she said.
"Okay, bye Mom!" I went and kissed her.
After I kissed her the bell rung. Wow. Great timing. I opened the door, to reveal Cassandra looking exited as usual.
"Hey Ava! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!" Cass shrieked.
"Woah, woah, woah! You're going to make me deaf Cass!" I said amused.
"Sorry, but it's not like your best friends has her birthday everyday." she said sheepishly.
"It's okay." I grinned. What are we doing here? Let's go to the mall!"
"I just get carried away I guess" Cass said.
We started out to her car. Cass started her car and we went. After a few minutes, we arrived at the mall. It was a Saturday, so there was a lot of students from our high school here. Thank god I wasn't a nerd though, or else I would've been bullied the second I got out of the car. My long blond hair, sea blue eyes, toned body, and my curves made me beautiful.
Cass and I went to Forever 21 first. We both bought more clothes. I bought a new beanie, a pair of shoes, new shorts, and more t-shirts.
"I'm going to the bathroom." I said
"Okay, I'll hold your bags for you." Cass said.
I gave her my bags and headed to the bathroom. When I went inside there was no one there. The lights were closed so I turned them on. I wonder why the lights are off, it's the afternoon already. I went into a stall, but suddenly I fell. But the thing is I didn't fall on the floor. There was no floor. I screamed and thrashed but it was useless, it was dark and the hole was large, it was like it never ended! The infamous black dots filled my vision and I just fell throught the endless darkness.

Don't hate!!!! This is probably my second book. But I deleted my other book! It was just horrible. I re-read it and I was just like IT SUCKED!! Oh well I'm probably going to be dedicated to this book this time. Well adios!
