I knew this would happen; it was only a matter of time. Harry has left me crying at the bottom of the staircase, clutching my ankle. He hit me, I can't believe he actually hit me.

*20 minutes earlier *

"What did you want me to say, huh?" Harry yelled, "Did you want me to lie?"

"You could have stopped him, Harry! If you knew what he was going to do to her why didn't you try and stop him!" I wailed, tears streaming down my cheeks.

Harry had come upstairs to bring me breakfast when I asked him if he knew where my best friend was and if she was okay. I have never brought Leah up before, but I was curious. Harry doesn't like it when I ask questions but he seemed to be in a good enough mood, so I tried. At first, he was a bit hesitant to tell me. He kept telling me that he doesn't want to make me upset. This only frightened me more, so I kept pushing it...

"We made a deal, Kylie." He sighed, pulling at his curls as he paced around the room.

"What kind of a deal?" I asked, taking a step closer to him.

"I said I'd stay out of his business if he stayed out of mine. His uncle runs those parties and Louis promised to get me in if I keep my mouth shut." He said in a low voice.

I shook my head in denial, how could he. My best friend...

"Did they find her? Was she alright?" I sniffled. He kept quiet; the answer was written in his remorseful eyes. He stretched out his arm as though reaching for my hands.

I backed away and opened the door. "Kylie." He pleaded.

"DON'T YOU DARE!" I screeched. "You're nothing but a monster, Harry! And a COWARD!" I cried.

Then I felt a shooting pain on the side of my face and before I could stop myself, I fell down the long staircase. I let out a cry after every step until I landed hard on the wooden floor, hitting my head. I looked up the staircase to meet Harry's eyes, they had turned wild and dark at my words. He clenched and unclenched his jaw. Rage written all over his face. He made his way down the staircase, clearly not ready to let me go that easily.

He picked me up roughly by my shirt, tearing it at the seams. He slammed me against the wall and I screamed in pain.

"PLEASE, HARRY, PLEASE STOP! HELP!" I cried as loud as I could. Harry let me go quickly, dropping me to the floor and he fell back. His eyes were no longer a dark, livid green. Instead they turned blank as though staring into space again.

"Gemma." He mumbled, staring directly at me. "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry." He repeatedly mumbled and then he rushed outside the house, slamming the door behind him.

I tried to get up but I felt an unbearable pain in my ankle, I clutched it tight. I tried to stand but I couldn't. I sat still for about twenty minutes waiting for the pain to stop but it never did. The last thing I want is for Harry to come through those doors while I'm still down here. I began to drag myself upstairs and winced from pain after every step. Eventually I made it up and I slammed the door shut. I let out a long scream of frustration.

I hate harry, I absolutely hate him.
